Stay Over?||Chapter 12

Luke's P.O.V
^*'^*'^*'^*'^*

All I could hear was her gasping.

"Do you like it." I asked nervously while biting my lip and looking down at my shoes.
I don't think she likes it. I felt her hand touch my chin and push my head up. She looked me in the eye.

"I love it." She smiled at me. I smiled back, wider. "No one has ever done anything like this before." She said sighing. I grabbed her hand a took her towards the picnic.

When we were at the picnic place, we both say down and started eating. All through the night, we talked and laughed and messed around. It was the best date ever.

While we were sitting down, I checked the time. It was almost 11. We've been here for almost 4 hours?!?! That's a long time but it only felt like 10 minutes.

"Evelyn." I said. "It's 11 'o' clock."

"What?!?" She said sounded big really shocked. "My mum is gonna kill me. I was meant to be back by 10." She said. Evelyn told me her mum is really strict and she gets angry easily.

"Don't worry. Evelyn I'll explain to your mum that we were having too much fun and we didn't realise the time had gone so quickly." I said try big to calm her down.

Evelyn P.O.V

...time had gone so quickly." Luke said, trying to calm me down. He doesn't know. She gets so angry. She would shout at me and send me to my room and not talk to me for a whole week. She wants me to become something I don't want to be.

"Okay. Luke can you stay over?" If Luke stayed over she wouldn't get as angry. The in the morning Luke would go home and I'd ask if I can come with him.

"If your mom and my mom are alright with it I'll stay." Luke grabbed my hand and we walked down the hill, until we reached his car.

-At Home-

Luke and I both got out of the car and walked up to my front door. I was super scared to see how my mom would react. He knocked on the door. The door swung open and I saw my mom.

"Where have you been?" She shouted. "I have be worried sick about you!" She said even louder.

"Umm...Evelyn and I were hanging out and we kind of lost track of time." He said, nervously. I could tell he was nervous. When he is, he bites his lip and looks down at his shoes. He looks so adorable.

"That's okay...." My mom said.

"Uhhhhh....My names Luke." He said smiling at her.

"Mom?" I said. She looked at me. "Can Luke stay over tonight?" I waited for the shouting. It didn't happen.

"Sure. If it's alright with his mom. The yeah, he can stay." She said walking back into the house.

Luke asked his mom if he could stay. She said yes! She also told him off for coming back late. But she wasn't as shouty as my mom.

Luke and I went up to my room.

"Should I sleep on the floor?" Luke asked. He was biting his lip and looking at his shoes. He was nervous.

"We can both sleep in the bed if you don't mind" I said. I know he's not going to try anything. He's not that type of guy.

Luke smiled at me and we both cuddled in my bed. But I couldn't go to sleep. I kept thinking about what my mom would do.

"You're not tired, are you?" Luke asked me.

"I guess you could say that." I said, shrugging my shoulders. Suddenly I hear Luke singing. He sounds amazing. I listened to his sweet voice and I felt my eyelids falling heavier and heavier. Until I was asleep.
