Evelyn's P.O.V

Luke and I went downstairs and we saw my mom in the kitchen making breakfast for me and Luke.

"Hey mom." I said to her. She turned and scowled at me. I frowned.

"Hey, what wrong?" Luke asked poking my cheek with his finger.

"Nothing." I said, moving his hands away. I put in a fake smile so he would stop asking.

He frowned. "Okay then. U sure?"

"Yes Luke. I'm sure."

After we ate breakfast we both wanted to go out, so I got changed into some different clothes because last night I couldn't be bothered to change.
I wore a really baggy shirt and some black leggings. I put my hair into a messy bun and went downstairs.

Luke was still in the living room. I went up to him.

"You sure you're okay?" Like asked once again.

"Yes. Luke I'm sure." I said smiling at him. It's cute that he's worried. "Don't you think you should go back to yours because you're still wearing clothes from yesterday." I didn't ask if I could come. I didn't want to make him think I'm clingy.

"Yeah, I should probably get going. But you wanna come?" Luke asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah sure." I said, grabbing my stuff.

When we arrived at Luke's house I was super nervous. What if his mum didn't like me? What if I didn't make a good impression? He obviously did with my mum.

"Hey, you okay?" Luke said, noticing I was a little worried.

"I'm a little nervous." I said, looking down at my hands.

"Don't worry. She'll love you. And I was worried with you're mum too. I thought she would hate me. But everything turned out alright." He smiled, grabbing my hand.

We walked up to the door and he unlocked it with his keys.
Then the door opened and we walked in.
