Stepped In

CHAPTER TWELVE

Hinata's mind had been replaying the conversation the conversation she had with Naruto a few minutes ago. She had been so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice when Naruto made the wrong turn on the road that led to the her home.

"Are you alright Hinata". Naruto asked stretching his arm to assist her out of the car.

"It's nothing". She shook her head dismissing it. It was only when she turned to take her leave did she realize they were not at the Hyuga compound.

"Naruto, where are we?". "My home". Naruto shrugged like it was no big deal.

But to the Hyuga it was. This was the first time she was the first time she was going to enter a males house other than Kiba's.

Unconsciously the Hyuga found herself turning crimson red. "W-w-why". "I figured since I've been to yours, you should visit mine. Come on".

Naruto linked arms with her and dragged her to towards the blue door.

Naruto smiled inwardly looking at the red faced Hyuga beside him. She looked so cute when she did that.

Reaching the door Naruto stretched his free hand out to hit the metal.

"You're staying with someone". Hinata asked when she noticed he hadn't brought out a key to unlock the house. And she frowned slightly at the thought of it being a female.

"My neighbor usually stays over to look after the house. He mostly just eats my food and thrash the house, terrible neighbour".

The door opened and a male was standing in front of them looking very drunk. "Dude if you're here for the party you just missed it".

Hinata nose cringed at the strong smell of alcohol coming from the male. She turned to look at Naruto who was unsurprised and she couldn't help but wonder if he was really Naruto's neighbor.

"Did Konohamaru throw another party". "It was awesome". The drunk replied in a very sloppy manner holding the door for support.

"Do you mind calling him. When you're find him do you mind getting out".

Naruto sighed at his Konohamaru's reckless behavior. Of all the days to throw a party the day he brought Hinata home. This is a terrible first impression.

"Big brother you're home early". Konohamaru smiled cheekily trying to stay of of the blond's bad side.

"Get out of my house". Naruto said coldly giving the brunette and icy stare.

I've never seen Naruto so serious. A chill ran down her spine the thought of those dark blue eyes behind directed at her.

"Come on big brother what's with that stare". Konohamaru turned to finally notice the lady standing beside Naruto. "Oh no. I didn't know you had a visitor, I'm so sorry".

Naruto looked at the guilty look on Konohamaru's face and let out a breath. I guess if he was apologizing instead of justifying his actions he meant it then.

"Just leave". His voice sounded calm again. "Don't you want me to clean up". Konohamaru used his thumb to point behind him.

"It's fine, I'll just clean it myself". No way he was going to let this brat clean up. He'll just dumb everything in a wardrobe or something and then there was Hinata. It'll probably look like child abuse.

"Thanks big brother". "Yeah, yeah. You can get lost now".

"I'm sorry for making a terrible first impression". The brunette turned now talking to Hinata.

Hinata blinked a couple of times before finally realizing he was talking to her.

"It's nothing". "I'm leaving, see ya". Konohamaru waved and finally left. "Brat". Naruto muttered looking at were the brunette once stood.
