Chris's p.o.v
I open Matt's room. The door slowly moves and I can see him in bed. With Lani. Her hair is everywhere, curls on the pillow and tucked into her little bun. Her mouth is open and I smile before looking at Matt.
He's sleeping to this side but his arm is wrapped about her waist a little. My hand grips the knob. I shouldn't be surprised, they're dating.
Still. I'm jealous.
I pick up one of the left over pillows on the edge of the bed and I throw it at Matt's head. He jolts awake and turns over to see me. Then he's confused that I'm in his room in the first place.
"You're back." He mentions the obvious but I don't answer him I'm too busy staring at her.
"Yeah I'm back, I made breakfast downstairs..." I say before closing their door.
When I get into the kitchen, Nick is already eating the eggs I made. There's a few pancakes left over for Matt and anybody that wants them.
I'm only back because.. I don't know. I watched the episode last night and it was my worst fear. Everyone being happy and getting along without me. It was like what I really thought was true. Nobody needed me.
Not even her. I thought she did but she kissed Matt in front of everyone. That was confirmation that what they had was real and I guess if it was I shouldn't get in the middle. That didn't mean I didn't want to.
"Thanks for making eggs sweetie!" Nick said before snapping a quick picture of me. I rolled my eyes and mixed the eggs and then started on Lanis pancakes.
