2012, New York Middle School
If you were to tell Hope her school day was to be cut short because the school caught wind of a potential threat against New York, she wouldn't be that surprised as her father was the one and only Iron Man. So, things out of the ordinary were becoming her new normal.
She met up with Olivia to see if she's seen Sophia before the school day was cut short and because she had an idea of how to find her if not.
Olivia finds Hope waiting at her locker. "Hey, so Sophia hasn't been at school at all whatever she's doing with my dad must be serious."
Hope smiles in understanding. "I figured when in my last class she still wasn't here, but I have an idea." Olivia nods her head for Hope to continue.
"So, I was trying to think of how can figure out where Sophia and your dad are when it hit me. I can go back to Stark Tower and use my dad's computers and see where she was last seen on any traffic camera or camera in general. Dad showed me in case there was ever an emergency and I needed to find him or my mom."
Olivia smiles brightly and gasps. "Oh my god, that's brilliant! But won't your dad find out? I mean isn't Happy watching over the tower anyways?"
Hope shakes her head smirking. "Happy texted me before class saying he wasn't going to be at the tower so it's all up for grabs. Plus, I can always just tell Jarvis to not tell my dad. So, what do you say?"
Oliva frowns. "The idea is great, but you'll have to go alone. I can stall my mom for you but if we both don't show up at home she'll freak out and come looking for the both of us or worse she'll send my dad."
At that revelation, Hope nods and understands this is something she'll have to do alone. "Okay, you're right. I'll head to the tower while you cover for me." The two girls hug before Hope heads out of the school and walks to Stark Tower. Usually, Happy picks her up but she's walked home before on days everyone was busy. It's only really 5 minutes.
As Hope gets to the tower she sees something shooting a blue light into the sky forming a portal from the balcony where she's seen her dad take off his suit. She bites her lip in worry before quickly heading into the tower.
