2012, Stallard-Menken Household

After Olivia and Hope had gotten up and started getting ready for school the two girls thought of how different things would be once they left the safety of Olivia's room. Olivia couldn't stop thinking of how she potentially lost her sister. Her twin. The two had been through a lot together, some they didn't even know about. Hope thought of how she lost one of the only friends she had. A friend who didn't care she was Stark, and a friend who would kill for her. The two had lost a piece of themselves last night and didn't know how to get it back or fix it. Hope comes out of Olivia's bathroom dressed and ready for school.

"Hey, do you think... do you think we lost her?"

Olivia sighs, putting the last of her books into her backpack. "I really hope not. I don't know what I would do without Sophia but when you told us everything about my dad things started to make some sense. I think it did for her too but she's too scared to admit it. She's always been more attached to our dad between the two of us." Hope smiles softly at the thought.

"I know how she feels. I was really scared leaving my aunt Nat after her being such a safe place for me for the longest but.. my dad really came through for me."

The two continue talking and finished getting ready heading down the stairs to the kitchen where Donna was waiting with two plates of breakfast. Olivia and Hope looked at the plates in confusion before Olivia looks to her mother.

"Mom, why is there only two plates?" Donna smiles at the two girls while she cleans the kitchen. "Oh, Sophia went with your father to school early, something about meeting with a classmate to finish a project."

The two girls share a worrying glance before sitting down and silently eating their breakfast.

Donna drops off the two girls at school bidding them goodbye before she heads to work. The two say their goodbyes before watching Donna's car disappear and then quickly heading into the middle school to see if Sophia was there. As they rush through the halls, Hope spots one of their friends, Peter Parker.

Peter was a sixth grader while the twins and Hope were in eighth grade. The three girls and Peter became friends when Peter was struggling a bit in one of his classes and Sophia was assigned by the school to tutor Peter. She quickly found out he didn't really need tutoring he was just going through a lot that kept his mind distracted from his work. Sophia quickly introduced Peter to Olivia and Hope and the four became fast friends leading Peter to get some attention as it wasn't very normal for a sixth grader to have an eighth-grade friend let alone three of them.

Hope runs towards Peter and stops him at his locker as he closes it. Peter looks at Hope with wide eyes as she practically slams her side into the row of lockers and sees Olivia stop right next to her.

Peter looks at the two girls quizzically. "Um, hi?" The two girls give Peter a small smile before Hope starts to get down to business.

"Hey Peter, sorry to just barge into you like this but we were wondering if you've seen Sophia around? We know she always talks to you in the mornings before classes."
