Raistlin walked down the quiet hallway over to a stone wall, remnants of the past still in his mind. Searching the stones one by one until he found the one he had been searching for. The stone was round and slightly off-centre, continuing on he pushed the stone until it came into place, opening a hidden corridor. Moving the wall back into place place behind him, he started down the corridor, over to a door only a few feet in front of him. Opening the door, revealed a small room, containing what he was looking for. Speaking a few words of magic the room suddenly lit up, though the room was low-lit the components were still visible. He went over to a very tall bookcase in the far corner of the room that was filled with books that had red bindings and a small centre crystal, a ruby just smaller than a small stone, opening the second-to-last one on the shelf. He searched through each entry until he had found what he had been looking for.

The dark books of Fistandantilus, the books that were hidden away from Krynn after the Cataclysm had occurred. Tucking the book into his cloak, he exited the room, walking back down the corridor. He thought perhaps him and Parsilian were the only mages who knew of this place. Long ago, Fistandantilus had written these novels in secret, the novels contained a history of spells that transport a person of any race back in time. He then grabbed a vile containing a blue liquid, pouring it into a glass bowl of water near the stone wall. He spoke the exact words of magic that were written down in a language only mages would understand. This would allow him to vision what powerful spell he must cast that will bring him back to what happened all those years ago. This spell would give Raistlin the strength to enter the day of his Test, oh how he dreaded that day. Exiting the tower, he continued outside. Toward the Shoikan Grove, pacing through the deadly place. Only Raistlin could pass through the grove with the charm that he wore around his neck. He spoke quick words of magic, then vanished into thin air. Raistlin had taken the Test long ago, remembering only vaguely what had happened and how Par-Salian had tricked him with his own twin. Now he had left him cursed, now he would only see people slowly decaying in his eyes, they were no longer lifeless like before. His skin tinted gold, never to look upon and not be disturbed by how cruel it looked. But now Raistlin had found the solution to this, he would go back in time to his younger self and be strong enough to take the test. Finally he would be able to live a life as a respected mage and never be trampled on by his brothers sympathy. He would be able to forget his past trauma, then he could become an archmage, then his title would be " Master of The Past and Present." This quest was his quest and he would allow no other to come along his path, he will stop anyone who shall get in his way, he needed to fulfill his destiny as a mage.
