Chapter 5

Jacquees' Pov:

I Was Sitting On Ming's Bed As She Sung To Me. One Of My Favorite Things Was To Hear Her Sing And To Sing To Her. Her Voice Was A Bit Of Beyonce And A Bit Of Jhene Aiko. Her Range Was Amazing Too, Better Than Mine If I Must Say So Myself.

Suddenly The Door Swung Open And In Walked 3 Big Dudes. The First Guy Walked Up To Ming And Pressed A Gun To Her Back.

"Get Up" He Told Her.

Scared And Already Shaking She Stood Up.

"Grab Him" The Second Dude Said And The Third Dude Did As Told.

"Que" Ming Said In A High Squeal.

"Shut Up!" The First Guys Said.

"Man Let Her Go, She Ain't Got Nothing To Do With This, Just- Just Let Her Go"

"Now You Know We Can't Do That" The First Dude Said Before Sending A Bullet Into Her Body.

"MING!" I Yelled Out Before Trying To Run Toward Her But Being Pulled Back "Let Me Go! Ming! Man Get The Hell Of Me, She's Dying!" I Said Fighting But It Was No Use.

My Body Shot Up And When I Look Around I Was Sitting In My Bed. I Was Sweating Like A Mug. I Picked Up My Phone And Looked At My Screen Which Was A Picture Of Ming. I Dialed Her Number And She Answered On the Fourth Ring.

"Que" She Said Sleepily "Its 2 In The Morning"

"Can I Come By"

"..Are You Okay?"

"Yeah I Just.. I Don't Know"

"Well Come On, I'll Be Up"

"Aight"

I Put On A Shirt With Some Joggers And Headed To Ming's Place. I Rung The Doorbell Twice And She Came To The Door Rubbing Her Eyes. With Her Hello Kitty Pajamas And Her Black House Shoes With Her Hair In A High Pony Tail And Stands Of Hair Everywhere. I Chucked A Bit.

"What's Up" She Said Letting Me In.

"The Stars"

She Giggled "I Mean With You. Your Only Up This Early When Somethings Bothering You"

"Im Just Thinking About A Lot. Where's Mai"

"Knocked Out As Always"

We Walked Into The Living room And She Turned On The TV. We Sat Down And It Was Quiet For A Few Minute.

"Soooo You Out The Game?" She Asked Me.

"No"

"..What, Why Not"

"Ming This Is Like My Job And I'm Getting Good Money"

She Stood Up And Crossed Her Arms Switching All Her Weight Onto One Foot.

"Que Its Dangerous Out There And You Know This"

"I Know Ming But I Can't Just Stop"

"And Why Not" She Said Sternly Almost Shockingly.

"Because I Have People Depending On Me"

"Whatever" She Said Turning Away And Going Into The Kitchen.

A Few Second Later I Got Up And Went Into The Kitchen. She Was Standing At The Sink.

"Ming I Got This, I'm Being More Careful. I'm Not Gone Let That Shit Happen Again"

"And What If It Does!" She Said Turning Toward Me And Tears Began To Fall Down Her Face. "What If I Lose You Again Huh."

I Walked Up To Her Pulling Her Into My Arms.

"You Wont, I Promise. Im Not Going Anywhere"

She Softly Pushed Me Away And Wiped The Tears Falling From Her Eyes.

"I Hate You For Making Me Cry" She Said With A Small Chuckle.

"But You Love Me Even More"

We Watched Some Movie And Ate A Few Snacks. Before I Knew It Ming Was Knocked Out. I Carried Her To Her Room And Put Her In Her Bed. I Didn't Cover Her With A Blanket Because It Seemed So Hot. I Left Making Sure To Lock The Front Door Behind Me.
