You pulled up to the prison gates, 11:53. You were early. You sighed as your hand automatically grabbed the case of cigarettes. Staring at it, you put it back into your cup holder. Maybe that habit could be kicked.

Zoning out, you finally heard a clang from beside you, there she was. Your mother, dressed in the clothes she had worn the night of the arrest, smiled at you as she ran towards you.

"My girl!" Your mother hugged you so tight it knocked the air out your lungs.

"Save the pleasantries , mom. Where do you want taking?" You pulled her off of you, her face filled with disappointment.

"Izzy's, she said I can stay at hers for a while"

"Ok" You walked to the driver side, getting in.

"Killer ride Y/N, this must've cost an arm and a leg!" Your mom whistled as she inspected your car.

"Careful, it's vintage." She rolled her eyes as she slid into the passenger seat, getting comfortable.

It was going to be a long ride, so you prepared yourself for intense questioning as you started up the car.

----

"Any boyfriend? God I missed men in there. How big's your house? How much do you make a year? Any new job openings?" Your mom had not disappointed, though you could understand her curiosity.

"I'd rather not talk about this with you." That didn't shut her up though.

"Right, well. Does anyone know about me?" Unbeknownst to her, you had kinda made a deal with the police department to have your mother, removed. Some contractor had  said you had a striking resemblance to a bank robber a few years back, it was just too risky. Once she got out, she would get a new identity.

"What do you think? I need to talk to you about, well. You" Your mother shot you a confused look. you began talking.

"If you go in the glovebox, theres a passport, money and some other bits and pieces. You are now Victoria Walker". You mother was slightly taken aback, before chuckling.

"Nice to see you still talk with the old gang Y/N" She inspected the passport, glancing at you.

"I don't"

"I know Al's work when I see it Y/N. What's he up to anyway?" Besides working at the bar, Al had a talent for the art of forgery. It was little side hustle for him, though now he just sold fake id's to kids.

"He dabbles. I haven't spoken to him recently" You mom opened the glove box, the IDs spilling out as well as a bottle of Truff Elixir.

"Whats this? Oh! Is this the perfume?" She grabbed the bottle, observing it's intricate details.

"Yes, try some."

"What does it smell like?"

"I don't know yet" She shot you a curious glance, before spritzing it carefully onto her wrist.

"I can't smell anything- WAIT! It smells like blueberry pie!" Your mother closed her eyes , inhaling the scent. You saw a pit stop coming up. Deciding to stop for food.

"Check this out" You sprayed the perfume on your wrist now, allowing it to do it's magic. She put her nose to your wrist, eyes wide.

"I heard about the magic perfume, I didn't realise it was actually magic!" You chuckled, pride glimmered in your mother's eyes. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as you thought.

Why do I love Y/Ns mom so much!! I didn't mean to write her to be so likeable wtfff.
