Chaeyoung's POV

"I heard something happened at school on Friday?"

i looked at my mom. how did she know about that? and why does she looks like she's teasing me? oh no.

"mom! nothing happened!" i snapped back at her. the two girls probably told her about jeongyeon and what happened with her and me.

"I heard there was a girl..." she smirked at me. what?!

"no! omg mom there's no one!"

"sure." she said, still teasing, before walking away to put her lunchbox inside her bag.

"will you be home tonight?" i tried to change the topic. which usually works.

"you know I'll try." she smiled at me a little before patting my head and waking towards the front door. "I'll see you, love you."

i said an "i love you" back to her before she walked out of the house to go to her workplace. i'm so used to this by now but she really does try her best to spend more time with me. being a mom isn't easy.

anyway, i got ready for school. it's monday again and i have to be ready before i became late. weekends weren't really as eventful as the others. my and my two girls just hang out in my room and at the mall and talk about silly stuff like girls, boys, and school shits that are worth gossiping about. It went by so quickly it was almost nonexistent.

after i got off the bus and walk towards my school gate, what happened days ago flashed in front of my eyes. i shook it off. i'm still a little embarrassed.

"you look dumb doing that"

i look behind me and saw mina. mina! wow, the first person i have to see after remembering what happened. that's just great, isn't it?

she looked at me for a few seconds before walking towards the school and left me there confused and gaping at what she just said. i followed suit since we're going on the same direction, and building... and classroom.

"are you still getting flashbacks at what happened days ago?" she suddenly asked me while walking towards our building.

"yeah, kinda"

"why? is there anything more to it that you reacted that way?"

i was shocked at her question but decided to just play dumb at it. "well, you know, it's embarrassing."

"you shouting in front of that girl's face?"

"yeah, i guess. i've never really shouted at someone like that before. it's new to me."

"hmm." is all she says before taking a seat at her designated seat and looking at me so suspiciously.
