monday mornings are never my favorite day. it honestly sucks.

first day of school for this week and i'm already exhausted. i haven't even gone out of bed yet. can i not go to school? I'll drop out after this school year that's for sure.

"Chaeyoung! you must get ready for school! you'll miss the bus!" my mom shouted from downstairs. when you have my mom, you don't need an alarm clock. her loud voice will surely wake you up every morning.

"yeah, mom! i'm awake! fully awake!"

"then get ready and get down here! you're not going without breakfast!"

i slowly sit up and grab my phone. i went straight to check my kakaotalk to see if any of my friends messaged me. and like expected, there is hundreds of messages from our gc.

my friends, jihyo and tzuyu, are both very good students. please mark the sarcasm. but really, they're always early and i'm always late. they should start teaching me how to be early because my school records aren't doing good.

i got up from bed and went to my bathroom. i took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. i got out of my bathroom and started to put all my notebooks, books, and homeworks in my  bag. i took my shoes and bag and went straight downstairs for breakfast. we gotta make this fast.

"finally! hurry up and eat" mom said after seeing me. Kimchi toast and eggs, my favorite.

i started to eat while scrolling through my phone. i checked my instagram and saw a post from the new girl at school.

she's in a purple knit sweater, black jeans and a converse shoes posting in front of a ferris wheel at the amusement park near our school. her name's mina and she's japanese. she transferred to our school a month ago and started being popular for being pretty.

i mean, she is pretty. but it's like she doesn't care. always been a quiet type of girl seems to not be bothered with anything. pretty shy too but also really nice. we tried to befriend her but she's not interested.

well, atleast she's still surviving in a korean high school.

i finished my breakfast and hung my bag on my shoulder. i put on my shoes and walked to the door.

"mom! going to school now!" i yelled before running out of the door and into our street. 15 more minutes and i'll surely miss the bus.
