The sun was bright and the warm conditions were giving me a migraine as I walked down the stairs of the plane. My mini dress was tight around my torso the skirt flowed out at my hips. I was concentrating on not falling down the stairs as I struggled to walk in the 5 inch high heels that Stephanie gave me saying that I must wear them today. At last I was safely off the stairs and my parents and I headed for the arrival area where we collected our suitcases. We walked out of the airport waiting for the car to pick us up to take us to our new house. My parents went to the toilet while I stayed with the bags at the entrance. Suddenly there was a roar of screaming and a crowd of girls ran in with posters and banners flowing. There was a small silence until a man came with a group of guards, then the crowd went wild literally if you were any closer you would have to go and have your ears checked. It was that load! The man moved closer and the guards separated the girls and made a path. I looked away thinking how pathetic they were being - girls are a sophisticated gender! I saw the car arrive and I signalled it over, 3 men came out and started lifting the luggage into the boot. I turned to pick my bag up when the man who was being obsessed over by girls crashed into me. I fell backwards landing hard on my back feeling winded. I tried to get up but the heels weren't making it easy, I was about to give up and take them off when a hand reached out and pulled me up, It was the man yet he wasn't a man but a tall teenager.
"I am so sorry for knocking into you like that, I try to escape the fans as they are a bit excessive. I'm Will by the way, Ash Ryans." He said as he smiled at me, his teeth were perfectly white and he looked very handsome.
"That's ok I should of looked, I've just moved here from England. I'm Megan Watts, nice to meet you Ash." I replied shaking his hand. "I better let you go past or you might get taken home by the girls!
"Thanks, so where are you heading? Can I have your number sometime? Cause I wanna buy you a latte for being clumsy" he asked
I agreed to give him my number to be polite, obviously nothing to do with his looks, as I wasn't at that stage where I fall at boys feet. Anyway I doubted he would actually bother to text me, famous people don't do that to normal people like me.
My parents arrived and I said goodbye, and hopped into the back of the car watching him run down the sidewalk to the waiting car followed by his fans. The driver put the car in gear and drove off taking us to our new home, a sense of loneliness hung over me, and I prayed that Stephanie and Emily would come sooner I needed some friends around me.
After a long journey we turned off the main road down a long drive which had trees planted along it. As we turned a corner at the end of the drive, I gasped the house was the size of a palace with balcony's, verandas and a grand porch. We circled round the courtyard that had a flowing fountain in the middle of it. I looked up as the house was 4 storeys high with gardens everywhere. We got out and took our luggage inside, everywhere was furnished beautifully and a fire was burning in the fire hearth which made the house cosy and warm. I was shown by a butler to my room which was on the second floor behind two massive doors. When they opened I couldn't believe the sight. The room was the 4 times the size of my last bedroom and that was big. It had a sofa, a wide flat screen TV, pictures, a full size mirror, 3 chairs, a desk, dressing table with shelves for make-up and lastly an enormous four poster double bed. It had three doors coming off at the sides: one was a large en suite bathroom. The second door led me into a big walk-in wardrobe that was about the same size as my last bedroom, it had drawers and hangers a mirror and a chair. The final double doors which was completely made of glass led out to the biggest balcony I have ever seen! I could see the rest of the drive down and at the end was the stables, barns, and animal pens with land stretching for miles!! After I put everything away and settled in, I heard my mum shouting for me, I ran down the 2 flights of stairs until I reached the kitchen which looked like something out of those designer magazines.
"Mum, have you seen my room?!" I screamed
"Yes sweetheart, I was the one that made the furnishing arrangements." She replied
"I am still not sure about the whole living in America, but I love the house. When do the animals arrive?" I asked
"We have to pick them up tomorrow afternoon, your father will be in a meeting to make arrangements for the opening of the new branch so it will just be us. " She answered
That night after dinner I went upstairs undressed and put my pyjamas and got into bed. The bed was very soft and comfy and before you could say Jack Sparrow, I was out like a light.
