After seven days of dancing and holding in my anger from Merissa flirting with Ryan, it's finally show time.

I waited back stage and clung on to the show schedule handout. I scanned through the paper once again and I am confident that only one out of three acts will come out successful.

"Sky over here!"

I jolted my head at the sound of my name. Kanade was giggling while waving her arm like a crazy man an Meghan stood behind her surpassing a laugh. I rolled off the wall and grabbed my bag of clothes and necessities. The show time was the periods before and after lunch time. Just so the performers could take a break from the spotlight.

When I approached the girls, Kanade kept on waving and Meghan just shook her head.

"I'm here," I said blankly and I pushed her hand down, "you can stop waving now." Kanade pouted.

"You're no fun," she whined.

"Waving you hand like a dummy is not fun, it's embarrassing," I dead panned.

"What's in the bag Sky?" Meghan asked, gesturing to it.

"Oh I murdered a baby and I don't know where to put it," I joked and they giggled. "Costumes, I'll be changing... A lot," I stated. Meghan was about to say something, but her face lit up. Kanade looked at her confused, then she looked at the direction Meg was staring at, and her face lit up as well. I raised my eyebrow, "what?"

Out of nowhere, a pair of warm hands blinded my sight and pulled me into a comfy chest.

"Guess who?" The voice sang. A bright smile popped on my lips to the sound of his voice. He released me from his grip and I turned around.

"Ryan!" Was all I said before tackling him into a hug. I was so in the moment that Meghan and Kanade's conversation was a blur in my ear.

"They should get married," Kanade mumbled.

"Yes, yes they should get married, then have five children together," Meghan replied. After a couple of seconds that felt like hours, words sank in... They sank in deeeeeep.

My eyes shot wide open and I glared at my comrades. Avoiding the high heat blush from blasting my face, I pulled away from Ryan. I mouthed, "shut up," and caused them to giggle.

"You guys ready?" He asked.

"Yep!" Kanade chirped.

"Aye!" I perked.

"Re- ooh that guy's hot!" Meghan admired, "see you later," she said pushing past us, "it's getting hot tonight!" She shouted, pumping her fist in the air.

The three of us watched blankly as she goes up to a guy from Ryan's crew and started flirting with him. He instantly blushed and laughed nervously.

"Same old Meghan I see," Ryan chuckled. Kanade and I agreed and watch her work her magic.

"Hey you! Performers over there!" A man shouted. The three of us turned to one on the stage crew members struggling to hold up a large piece of wood. "Stop being lazy and help me out here!"

We gladly accepted the call and lifted the wood. Since there was about and hour 'till the show, we helped out back stage with last minute ideas.

There are two more acts before me and the girls go on. I was peeking over the curtain and our outfits were different, but had the same color scheme, black and silver. In our little group, we have certain jobs for each person. Meghan was in charge of clothing and simple choreography, Kanade kept an eye on the Ear-ins and make up duty, and I did the hair and music.
