"Oh, I'm sorry that was really awkward. Didn't mean to do that"
She had long brown straight hair, blue eyes that looked sharp and determined. Her waist was extremely small and her hips where wider then a normal girl with thin legs would have. She was very pretty and elegant.
She started to giggle. Her voice was very bubbly and she spoke as if there was a joke about to erupt out her mouth at any minute.
"Its alright I was thinking about doing the same thing to you." She smiled.
I looked at her surprised as my eyebrows lifted then I started to laugh also "alright" was all I could manage to say.
I looked her up over the summer.
Casey K. Williams, the daughter of a very important author that most people wouldn't recognize. Except me, I knew her dad well. It's not like we would go out to red lobster and talk about his books, but his work was amazing. "Stardust Keeper by Jake E. Williams" it was a 5 books series. He made a 6th one before he died, in a car crash. I wanted to talk to her about him, I was so excited but that would be awkward.
Hey Casey can we talk about your dad, which is now dead. Oh no, wait, what, why are you crying?
That would just be weird, rude, and awkward.
"Our classes don't start until next week" she spoke after a couple of minutes, into the silence of our room. I looked up abruptly after realizing how deep in thought I was. "What do you want to do till then? I know this frat house is having an awesome party on Saturday, if you want to come with me" she winked at me.
My face scrunched up. Her bed was finally finished and she hopped onto mine. Casey placed her hands together in a pleading way. Showing her bottom lip, and sad puppy dog eyes.
I hate parties. After my senior class had a big grad party at my friends house I just stopped enjoying parties altogether.
"Come on Andri, Please!" Holding the, please, longer to emphasize how much she wanted me to go. I rolled my eyes to her direction. I let out a long, and hard sigh as I laid my back on the mattress beneath me.
She screamed. "So that's a yes, right?!"
"How did you do that?" I looked up at her, leaning against my elbows to hold myself up.
She giggles shortly "Do what?" Casey started to look around, playfully innocent. "I didn't do anything."
"Yes you did, you just forced me to go without... forcing me to go. What the hell?" My phone was buzzing underneath my back, probably making me get breast cancer.
I reached under and grabbed it; I was getting a phone call. My face immediately lit up. Then I looked over at Casey while answering it and placing my hand over the speaker.
"We can talk about this later." I glared at her.
Casey started to laugh and she said "whatever, your coming with me" then winked her natural looking false lashes at me.
I rolled my eyes and looked back at my phone. Kicking Casey off my bed I held it up to my ear, smiling like an idiot.
"Naveah!" I screamed.
"Lex! What's poppin girl? How's school? Did you meet a cute boy? OMG! Girl tell me everything!" she started to blurt out questions through the speaker. I just laughed.
"School is great I might go find my classes this afternoon so I don't get lost. But there is this-"
I heard her cough cutting me off "Boring. Wait did I hear you almost talk about a boy? Go on, go on!" she rushed me.
