9:00am (Y/N's perspective)

...*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

"Mmmh, five more minutes," I hit snooze for the 4th time.

...Didn't I have something to do today?

.
.
Shit...

I sprint down the stairs, bread in mouth.

IM LATE!

——~15 Minutes Later~——

9:15am

"WAIT!! WAIT FOR ME!!" I screech at the poor person holding the door. It wasn't until I got inside that I realized how insane I must've looked.

Oh well!

I shake the social anxiety off and run to my new class, to find someone waiting by the door
"Ah, Y/N L/N?"
"Yeah, thats me!" I manage to say through my hyperventilation.

I get a good look at who I'm assuming is one of my new teachers, she's pretty tall, her black hair is up in a bun and her clothes are relatively standard for a teacher; the classic brown shawl and everything.

Definitely a side character, I think to myself

"Come inside and introduce yourself once you've caught your breath, I'll let your tardiness slide today since you're new, but I expect you to arrive on time from now on,"

"Yes Ms.. uh," what was her name?

"Ms. Marian," she steps inside and closes the door

9:18am (Narrator's perspective)

"All right class, settle down." Ms. Mariam stands "I'm sure you've all heard that we have a new student joining us. Please be respectful.." She pauses to glare at a particularly loud group of students "You may come in Y/N"

Y/N walks in, and all eyes are instantly on them.

"Is it weird that I really want them to step on me?"

"Why are they kinda.."

"I could treat you right"

Now a normal person would probably be weirded out by these comments but Y/N did not get enough sleep for this so they just kinda.. sit down and chill.

A different student, one that will not be named, is growing increasingly annoyed.

9:20am (Y/N's perspective)

These people are really fucking weird but whatever I'm too tired for this

I sit down as Ms. Mariam hands out some busywork,

Lazy much? I guess this is a free period then

9:45am

"-ake up. Earth to new kid?"

"Mmh whyyy?" I glare at this bitch who just woke me up from my v e r y well deserved nap.

"Periods almost over, new kid~"

"Its Y/N," I stop to look at the person who woke me up, he's pretty short, his hair is auburn and curly, it goes till around his chin. He's wearing a red hoodie and black jeans he also has a pretty cool looking ring on, I think the gem in it is ruby.

"What's your name?" I push my hair out of my face and rest my chin in my palm.

"Jay Kollen!" He responds, visibly blushing at something but I have no clue what. I guess he's just getting hot in that hoodie.

"Hey uh, do you want to eat lunch with me and a few friends?" He asks, tilting his head to the side.

"Yeah sure,"

——~Time Skip!~——

11:30am (Narrator's perspective)

As Y/N goes about their day, they simply fail to notice all the people talking about them,

"Who's the new kid?"

"I don't know but they're kinda cute,"

And with all this talk of Y/N going around a certain someone is getting a bit fed up.
