Past: Sophomore year of college
I sit down at the table waiting for Allie, she said she had something to talk to me about so I agreed to meet her.
"Hey babe" She walked up to the table.
"Hey."
We do small talk about how we've been and everything even though we saw each other like 3 days ago.
"So I have a favor to ask you" She bit her lip.
Oh boy.
I sat up straighter. "Ok, what's up?"
"Do you still do tutoring?" She asked.
"Not really... Why?"
She played with her fingers. "Wes needs some extra help and I was wondering if you could help him out" She said.
Shit.
"You want me to tutor him?"
"If you can. If not that's fine, but I was just wondering since you used to do it in highschool" She said.
I mean I could tutor him since in the past 6 months my feelings for him are barely even anything so I should be fine.
"Ok, I could help him out."
She grinned. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate and I know he will too" She said.
I really hope I didn't just screw myself over.
I should be fine is my mantra as I walk to the library on campus a few days later.
I'm still confident that my crush isn't that bad and I should be able to tutor him without having any problems.
I open the front door and walk inside until I see Wes sitting at one of the tables.
Ok, I can do this.
He's wearing a plain white t shirt and a backwards baseball hat still looking so hot.
Ok this is fine, it's ok to admit he's attractive.
When he sees me he smiles, showing his perfect teeth and both his dimples are popping out making my stomach flip.
Oh boy. Ok... Maybe I can't do this.
"Hey" I said taking a seat at the table.
"Hey Mackenzie. Thank you so much for this, I really owe you" He said.
Fuck, hearing my name roll off his tongue sounds so good.
"No problem. What are you having trouble with?"
He goes into his backpack to get some papers out and slides them to me. "It's my logistics class I'm struggling with" He said.
I look everything over and try to come up with a plan of how to help him.
