She stared blankly at the book, still shocked. She flipped to the next page to find another sketch, of her She presumed sitting at a table with her headphones in and reading. His sketches were amazing and Alyssa was still astonished to find that the sketches were still of her.
She flipped the page to find another drawing, of a stranger. She flipped another page and saw a sketch of Mr. wallis standing by his car. Alyssa giggled. Jack had put so much detail into his drawing that he even sketched the alcohol bottles in Mr. Wallis' car.
She turned onto the next page and saw a sketch of Violet, Charlie and herself sitting under a tree at film school.

Alyssa closed the book. She came to the conclusion that she needed to give Jack his book back. Alyssa said bye to Mrs. Quake and cycled back to the café.
Alyssa handed the book to the cashier and told them that she found it on the floor and wanted to return it.
"Thank you ma'am, I'll be sure to give the owner a call".
"Thank you" Alyssa said.
Alyssa walked out the café but bumped shoulders with someone before she could fully get out the door. She looked up and it was Jack.
"Sorry about that" he apologized and moved aside for Alyssa.
"No need to apologize, it was my mistake. I...I should focus more" she said stuttering.
Alyssa gave Jack a small smile and Jack swore his heart skipped a beat. He smiled at Alyssa as she walked away. Jack went to the front counter and asked if they had seen his small leather book.
"Yes here it is, in fact the young lady you just bumped into handed it in just a few seconds ago".
Jack looked back and watched as Alyssa got on her bicycle and cycled down the corner of the street.
"Thanks" Jack gave the cashier a smile and left the café.
He walked down the street and made his way back to his apartment. He unlocked his front door and got into his apartment. Jack was a one of a kind guy. He had many sides to him, he was a poet and an artist but he thought nothing of it. Some people compared him to Leonardo da Vinci because his art was so detailed and flawless but he just thought they were being nice. Jacks apartment was covered in his sketches and poems. He was a quiet guy who thought a lot about loads of different things but he mainly thought about one thing in particular... He mostly thought about Alyssa. The girl he had fallen for ages ago.
