As Alyssa walked down the, film, schools pathway She heard someone call her name. "Alyssa!" She didn't stop walking. Wasn't in the mood. "Alyssa Mackenzie! Stop walking!". She stopped and let them catch up with her. "Morning Violet" Alyssa greeted but didn't look at her. "How are you Aly?" Violet asked with concern in her voice. She was like a sister to Alyssa and she cared a lot about her. "I'm good" Alyssa said. "Good" she replied. For the next few moments Violet and Alyssa walked in silence. Alyssa passed violets class and said goodbye to her and headed her way to her own class.
"Alyssa Mackenzie, right on time" her friend Charlie greeted her. Alyssa smiled and sat beside him. The classroom began to full and become louder with chatter and laughing. Alyssa sat quietly next to Charlie and scribbled notes into her diary. The class became silent as we all watched our, alcoholic, teacher walk in.
Mr. Wallis. He was a stubby short man with a leather briefcase and only owned two ties. Alyssa used to admire his talent until he threw it away and became an alcoholic, it was a shame really.
"Right, homework is done I presume?..." Mr. Wallis questioned us all. We all looked around, including Alyssa as She didn't do her homework. Their assignment was to make a three minute film about something that inspired them.
One hand shot up. It was Andrew Simon. Mr Wallis pointed at him and called him over. They all watched Andrew walk over to the front desk and set up the projector. Mr Wallis helped him and soon Andrew was seated. The film started and Andrews low voice began talking in the background of the film. Alyssa looked at Jack behind her and saw he wasn't watching the film, he was writing in his small leather book again. She turned back to the front of the class and watched on. Three minutes had past and the film finished. The whole film was about the people that inspired him, like Vincent Van Gogh, J.K Rowling, MichelAngelo etc. Mr Wallis gave him a A- for being the only one to turn in the homework, the rest of them on the other hand were given a five page essay as to why they didn't hand in our work. Great. After class Charlie and Alyssa made their way To the next class, history.
After history they had lunch and Altssa met up with the usual group. Charlie, Violet, Harrison, William and Alyssa walked over to our table in the far corner, by the window, of the cafeteria.
They discussed various things, like what they were doing for the weekend and who they're going to spend it with. Alyssa left the table and scraped her left overs into the bin. She walked out the cafeteria and went into her next class.

Film school was finished by 1:00pm, like it did everyday. Alyssa walked to the bus stop near by and caught a lift to lower manhattan. She paid the bus driver and said her thanks to him and got off at the bus stop. Her bicycle was wrapped around in chains, clinging to the bus stop pole. She undid the lock and was on her way. She went to the small café again and ordered to go. Alyssa was waiting for my coffee when she saw Jack Peterson's small leather book on the same exact table he was always at, but Jack wasn't there nor were his bags, maybe he left his book behind. She had a choice, She could take it and read it at home or she could leave it and not have an opportunity like this for a while. Alyssa took the book. She paid the cashier for her coffee and got on her bicycle and raced home.
