Chapter 3

Jin came home earlier than usual, today wasn't as busy as yesterday, fortunately, he was able to come home and Taehyung replaced him. Being a reporter isn't easy but he enjoys doing it. It's just that since marrying Jungkook, he hears his name more and more often in the office, and that makes him uncomfortable.

It was 9 pm, and Jungkook wasn't home yet, Jin had just taken a shower and rushed to make his late dinner. He just made ramyeon for that night.

Then the sound of the door opened and Jungkook appeared there with his body staggering, Jin immediately turned off the stove and ran towards Jungkook, catching him before he fell to the floor, how could he come home drunk like that?

"Jeez Jungkook, what happened?" Jin said.

"That man is just using me! He was only after my money from the start! I should have known he didn't want me! Damn, man! You bitch!" Jungkook kept saying bad things and Jin tried to take him to the room, lay him on the bed, and change his clothes.

"Do not touch me!" Jungkook subconsciously kicked Jin who wanted to take off his shoes and made Jin fall to the floor.

Jin groaned in pain while holding his stomach, he tried to get up and again took off his shoes and clothes on Jungkook's body.

Jin continued to feel his stomach hurt, he opened his shirt and saw a bruise on his stomach, it looks like the kick was so hard that it left a bruise there.

That night Jin decided not to have dinner, he put the noodles back on the shelf and put Jungkook's dirty clothes in the laundry basket.

He stood in the bathroom with his head bowed before the sink. 5 years have passed and nothing has changed between them, Jungkook who always cheats on him, and Jin who has always been a good husband in that relationship.

Jin wanted to quit but Jungkook's parents had given everything to Jin since he was little and he owed them a debt.

The next day, Jin woke up from his sleep, and he felt his body was not as healthy as usual. He opened his eyes and looked at Jungkook who was still sleeping.

He got up and opened the curtains of his room, occasionally groaning while holding his stomach. He pulled up his shirt to see his bruises were turning purple.

Not long after, Jungkook woke up from his sleep, his head hurt and he got up from his bed. Seeing that the sun was bright, which meant it was noon, Jungkook came out of his room and saw Jin in front of the TV.

"You don't work?" Jungkook said.

"Oh, you're awake? I made you some soup, eat it so your hangover goes away." Jin said.

"You didn't answer my questions," Jungkook said.

"Yes, I decided to take the day off because I was too tired," Jin said and Jungkook came over to him and sat beside him.

"Your face is pale, are you okay?" Jungkook said.

"Eat your soup, I'm fine," Jin said.

"Okay, and today it doesn't look like I'm going home, I have to shoot in Jeju and I think I'll be there for 2 days," Jungkook said.

"I'll prepare your clothes, and eat," Jin said and when he got up from the sofa, he almost fell and held his stomach which kept hurting as he walked.

"Ahh.." Jin groaned.

"Jin, are you okay?" Jungkook rushed to him and led him back to sit on the sofa.

"What is it?" Jungkook said and he saw Jin continue to hold his stomach.

"Let me take a look, what's wrong with your stomach?" Jungkook opened Jin's shirt and saw a bruise on his stomach.

"Oh god, who did this to you?" Jungkook said.

"The one who asked me," Jin said.

"What? Me? When did I do it?" Jungkook said.

"Never mind, I'm fine, eat, I'll prepare your clothes," Jin said and he tried to walk slowly towards his room while holding his stomach.

After finishing his breakfast, Jungkook came back into the room and saw Jin tidying up his clothes and putting them in his luggage, that's what Jin always does and everything will work out if Jin does it.

"Are you sure you're okay? We can go to the hospital to treat it," Jungkook said.

"And let many eyes see us? I'm going to the hospital later, and I've prepared everything here, medicine and other necessities are in this pouch, don't eat too much that contains flour, bread, or anything else, and take a saltwater bath so your tiredness goes away, I brought extra mint candy here, and this is your neck pillow, I'll also give you an inhaler if you have trouble sleeping, hm what else haven't I prepared for you? I think that's all." Jin kept looking at the luggage trying to remember what he hadn't put in there yet.

"Jin, I'm only gone for 2 days, isn't this all too much? Are you kicking me out?" Jungkook said.

"Yes, you better stay there longer," Jin said.

"Oh really? You will miss your husband if I stay too long," Jungkook said.

"Whatever," Jin said while rolling his eyes.

"Go to the hospital to check your condition, call me if anything happens," Jungkook said.

"Yeah, I'm going to take a shower first," Jin said and as he was about to enter the bathroom Jungkook followed him.

"What are you doing here?" Jin said.

"Take a shower with you, it will save my time, come on," Jungkook said and closed the bathroom door with his foot.
