Chapter 12

"Y/n!"

The girls were frightened and shocked by Y/n's accident, watching the girl rolling on the road.

"Hey! Slow down! We lost Y/n!" Jihyo banged in front, yelling loudly to the trio in the other side.

The three heard the banging, looking at whatever's causing it. "Who's banging?" Seulgi asked. They all shrugged, oblivious of what's currently happening at the back. 

Hearing no response in return, Jihyo was now fuming mad.

"YAH!" The three flinched at the sudden loud booming voice of Jihyo. "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN! WE LOST Y/N!"

The trio widened their eyes. Seulgi looked out and saw Y/n on the road instead in the truck. "Slow down! Y/n's on the road!" Jeongyeon started slowing down the truck, just enough for them to not be caught by the zombies speed.

"Urgh" Y/n growled, feeling numb from the fall that she had. Her body was filled with scratches and purple bruises, small and big. Her shoulder was bleeding again, along with the wounds around her body.  She hissed as she slowly sat down, her consciousness was hazy for her to properly stand up.

Y/n squinted her eyes, the sunlight making it almost impossible for her to see.

Y/n heard loud stomping and growls, looking around for the source of it, she looked at the other side of the road and saw a huge horde running towards her.

She widened her eyes and suddenly felt a huge wave of adrenaline on her body as her senses were now fully awake and aware.

"Shit!"

Y/n instantly stood up, despite her injuries, she ignored the pain and pushed herself to run towards the truck. She saw the girls waiting there for her, but she was too far away. Y/n looked back and saw the horde slowly catching up to her.

"I don't want to die!"

She sped up, almost staggering. The adrenaline was still there, as she sped up even more, surpassing her limit.

"I want to-"

Y/n kept on speeding up and closed her eyes for a second.

"I want to live!"

Y/n felt her vision slightly blurry, her adrenaline slowly fading. She suddenly thought of her family and Lisa.

"I've already lost others!"

She was now slowing down, tears forming on her eyes. The tiredness and pain in her body slowly taking over her.

"So don't make me lose myself too!"

Y/n was now staggering. Despite her blurry vision, she saw the girls screaming in the truck.

"I can never do anything right can I?"

Y/n chuckled faintly. She took her last glance towards the girls and saw a glimpse of something coming towards her that she couldn't make out, until she finally closed her eyes before falling down.

"I want my life back"

Mina's POV

"Y/n!" I saw her in front of me, falling out of the down, rolling on the road. The truck was still speeding up, creating a distance between us.

"Hey! Slow down! We lost Y/n!" Jihyo was warning them. The others were picking up guns, shooting off the zombies, trying their best to hold back the zombies so that they wouldn't reach Y/n.
