Chapter 13

Mina's POV

It was already night time. We just recently parked the truck in the middle of the road to check with others and eat. Jeongyeon's group had some injuries and wounds that we only found out right now, but good thing it was only minor ones. Jihyo and Momo are tending them as of now.

Our group were all just tired after what happened earlier. Tzuyu was mostly fine since she recovered earlier.

I'm okay though, just also tired. Y/n had it worst. Until now she still hadn't regain her consciousness. Jihyo was already done treating Y/n too.

Our group is eating right now inside the truck while Jeongyeon's group was watching Y/n.

"Damn, I can't believe she's this stupid" Jeongyeon smacked Chaeyoung's head and the latter hissed.

"Dumbass, even if I were Y/n I'd do the same thing" Jeongyeon commented, staring at Y/n. "But not that stupid to put a stick on the pedal" Jeongyeon admitted.

"No argue in that" Chaeyoung agreed, nodding at each other. Our group was just listening to their bickerings about Y/n. I must say, they're actually fun to be with.

"Hey, where did you even find this truck?" Sana suddenly asked which caught my attention as I looked at the three, anticipating an answer.

"We found it near an abandoned market, might as well take it since we checked it and it was in perfect condition" Seulgi answered and shrugged.

"How about the zombies that were chasing you all first?" Momo pondered, crossing her arms. She woke up just earlier after I knocked her out when she smelled food. Weird.

"Uhm..." Seulgi rubbed her nape awkwardly. She glanced at her two friends, sending help with her look but found her friends just whistling, ignoring her.

Seulgi huffed annoyingly. "We were playing around" Seulgi answered, not directly saying the whole reason.

Jihyo went towards them with an intimidating look, crossing her arms. "What kind of playing around?" Jihyo glared at the three who were now shivering from her look, completely helpless.

"W-well... we, u-uhm, were smacking e-each other while laughing" Chaeyoung gulped, stammering with her words. Jihyo was now glaring at them even more, making the poor trio more scared of the latter.

They mentally noted to themselves to not make Jihyo mad nor trigger her with anything at all. She was even scarier than the zombies.

"Quit it Jihyo. You're scaring them" I stated. They all looked at me as the three were obviously grateful of me saving them from the fuming Jihyo.

Jihyo sighed and nodded, giving the girls a last glare, making the three suddenly flinch. Jihyo went back after treating the three of them, mumbling something that we couldn't hear.

"I'll drive the truck since you three are injured. Tzuyu and Nayeon will be with me in front" Jihyo stated, handing us a few walkie talkies. "We found this earlier when we were at the abandoned city, should be useful to us. Thankfully it has some batteries" We nodded, taking the walkie talkies from her as we tested if it was working.

"If something's wrong just talk through this so we're aware. It's hard to communicate in front while you're here inside just by voice" Jihyo advised, leaving the truck along with Tzuyu and Nayeon.

"Don't worry, we'll handle ourselves here. Don't forget to close the tailgate" I remind her and Jihyo nodded, walking to the front of the truck. We can hear Tzuyu complaining to Jihyo about Nayeon being with them, of course Jihyo ignored her.
