there will be a day
where i do not fear
the thunder after lightning.
i will not fear simply existing,
being perceived by others,
and talking.
there will be a day
where i do not fear
enjoying life's simple pleasures.
for if thunder after lightning
did not exist,
there would be no simplicity
or enjoyable moments to life.
