I Am Now Your Oshi!

The Real Hoshimachi Suisei

On a busy street in the city of Japan, where the sun is towering over the sky from above, birds near the trees are singing their beautiful melodies, what is seen is a couple sitting on a table just outside a cafe.  The girl being a famous streamer known as Hoshimachi Suisei, while the gentleman in front of her is, unsurprisingly, an attractive-looking man. Even the bystanders outside would agree upon closer inspection, admiring the beauty and elegance of the couple.

In the span of thirty minutes, since the two began their date, the gentleman has never taken his eyes off of his girlfriend, visually attracted to the girl like a magnet. Although Suisei knew, she doesn't mind it one bit. If ever, she just wants him to look at her and nothing else. As the man stared deep into her eyes, Suisei responded by flashing him a confident smile, almost as if she was on point with her character. 

" Here are your orders, Ma'am and Sir. Our cafe's couples-only parfait! Enjoy!" The waitress lively says as she places the food on the table before leaving.

A large parfait that is only available for couples. The strawberry on top symbolizes love, along with a heart-shaped straw for the couple is what makes the parfait truly special. They are not provided any utensils for eating, only the heart-shaped straw with two holes on each side for them to use. 

Deep inside, Suisei is embarrassed by the idea of sharing a parfait together with her boyfriend, but she must not break character at all costs. Hoshimachi Suisei is a confident and lively woman who wouldn't falter on such a trivial task. So she leans her body forward as she slowly opens her lips to receive the end of the straw in front of her, but before receiving the straw with her pink, plum lips, she nods her head to her boyfriend to encourage him to do the same. 

The bystanders watching them from the distance are seen staring at them in awe. While some are undoubtedly impressed by the couple's public display of affection, the other half of the crowd is visibly frowning in distaste, jealous of their love.

" We seem to have gathered the attention of many, Suisei-san..." - The gentleman said as he slowly parts his lips from the straw. 

" It's not because there's cream on my face, is it?" - Suisei teasingly says as she does the same as her boyfriend. She elegantly runs her finger across her hair with a smile.

Chuckling, the man takes the remaining strawberry from the empty glass of parfait and slowly hovers it in front of Suisei. The girl runs her fingers on the side of her left ear before leaning in to bite on the strawberry as gracefully as possible. 

" It's obviously because of how gorgeous you are. I can feel those men piercing me with their gazes from the moment we sat at this table. It's pure jealousy."

" The girls around us have been glaring at me for a while as well. It must be rough being a model, huh, Haruki?" 

Haruki Amazaki, the name of the man Hoshimachi Suisei is madly in love with. Working as a fashion model since he was sixteen, Haruki became a well-known figure all over the city. Though the same story can be applied to Suisei, herself. Not only is she well known all over their city, but might even be all over the world as a well-known idol. 

" I digress. Suisei-san just has more public value than me; I'm even lucky to sit beside you right now as my girlfriend. I wouldn't trade this moment for anything in this world. - He proudly says with a nod.

Seeing how highly Haruki thinks of her, Suisei could not help but feel pressured, like she's being pushed to an edge which she has nowhere to escape from. But she is the famous Hoshimachi Suisei! What is there to be afraid of? She has earned the right to receive such praise, especially from the love of her life. If so, then why? What is she afraid of?
