"Quidditch..." Lilac's eyes scrolled trough the book at the speed of light as she was dragged off by her arm. "I-I still don't understand the positions in the game! Why are there so many balls, why is the snitch worth so many points!?"

"Stop!" Tyran snatched the book away, "We'll explain while the match is going, we gotta leave now or all the good seats'll be gone!"

Shane continued pulling Lilac out of the common room, some people staring or laughing at them.

The group met up with Luna, who hadn't decided who she wanted to cheer on yet.
"You can just watch without cheering, it's fine." Lilac shrugged, but both the boys started pressuring towards supporting Slytherin.

When the group finally sat down the Gryffindor team and the Slytherin team made its way onto the quidditch field.
The field was made of nicely mown grass. What was the thing that made it quidditch, was the three big goals, hoops raised up by poles. The people on the field rode on brooms and played the complicated game.
Tyran tried to pay attention to this game, but Lilac kept asking questions. Some of the questions he couldn't even answer, which annoyed him.

Once they were finished they walked back to the castle, only to have Malfoy catching up with them.
"You enjoyed seeing me flying?" He asked with a grin, an expensive looking broom on his shoulders.

"Well... you literally went flying when the bludger hit you." Lilac commented at which the other two snickered. Luna just nodded in agreement.

Malfoy send her a slight glare, "Whatever."

"You got that coming Malfoy." Shane suddenly glared, "I don't think I've forgotten about the Halloween feast."

Lilac rolled her eyes and grabbed the ends of her sleeves, "That was a while ago..."

That evening while Lilac fell asleep she vaguely heard it again. The whisper as if someone was right there, maybe inside of the walls?

Rip... tear... kill...

"What?" Lilac heard the news once she sat at the breakfast table the very next morning.

"Yeah, he's said to be petrified, just like filch's cat!" Shane informed, "Still clutching his camera, poor guy."

"I wonder what he saw, maybe he put it on the camera?" Tyran wondered as he put food in his mouth.

Lilac frowned as she took a small bite from her own toast.
"I don't..." Lilac put down her toast, "I don't get it, each time the voice was there."

"Huh?" Shane quickly lowered his voice and leaned forwards slightly, "What's with the voice?" His tone suggested he'd rather not talk about it.

"I heard it again last night." Lilac explained as her eyes turned up to Shane, "Saying basically the same thing... I wonder if it causes the things." She wouldn't know why if it did.

Shane and Tyran exchanged a look before Lilac got up from her seat. Her toast became long forgotten as she decided to investigate all of it. She was starting to get bored of making extra long essays anyway.

Stepping into the library, Lilac looked around with slightly wide eyes. The hunt began.
She grabbed big and small books, long books and short books, about spells and objects and different subjects. Lilac sighed as she couldn't figure out how to narrow down what she was looking for. She ended up borrowing a book about defensive spells and made her way to the hospital wing.

Classes had just ended and Lilac entered the wing. The nurse person stood next to some kid, talking to him.
Lilac took this chance to sneak up to the boy who got petrified. She recognised him, he usually had a camera with him, it was like he had been holding it while he got petrified. On closer inspection, it seemed like he had seen something trough the camera.
Lilac took note of how his eyes were slightly wide, he had indeed seen something, what would he be seeing?

"And what might you be doing here?" The nurse asked sternly, finally noticing Lilac who had expected this would happen.

"Oh..." Lilac turned to the nurse, pretending to be down, "I just thought... I... I didn't want him to be alone." Lilac glanced at the boy, "We've got transfiguration together..."

The nurse looked more sympathetic now, "Alright, you can stay...but not for long, Potter, you may go."

Lilac glanced at the boy the nurse had been talking to. His black hair and glasses indeed looked like he was Harry Potter. She turned back to the boy and sighed. How was she to figure this out?

The nurse, called Madam Pomfrey, send Lilac away after a moment. She walked to the library again, what could petrify a person after looking at them. Would the camera between the look matter?
As she walked she read about a defensive spell. The book mentioned something about forbidden magic. Lilac frowned, there was magic you couldn't do?

Inside the library Lilac got distracted by the new subject. Madam Pince, the woman who kept the library quiet and clean, helped her find some books to help her out.
Lilac didn't hate the woman as much once she walked away with her bag full of books. She sat down in the common room and started reading.
