Lilac did not do what Tom Riddle wanted her to do.
She got her hands on one of the Hogwarts a history books, which was a challenge, and read trough it. Of course once she finished it she wasn't satisfied with the amount of information, it wasn't much new.
Walking trough a corridor she suddenly saw a certain student."Hey, Weasley," Lilac walked up to Ginny Weasley and put up a nice smile, "How about a talk?"
"Why?" Weasley asked, she seemed a little down, so Lilac acted on it.
"Well, I thought you might just want to hang out. Not many noticed, but I thought you seemed a little down..." Lilac looked at Weasley expectantly, and she nodded.
"Alright then, let's hang out." Weasley said, "Let's go to the Gryffindor Common room, or Slytherin..."
"Whatever makes you comfortable." Lilac said as for her the only concern was either Harry Potter or her own friends.
They walked inside of the Gryffindor Common room and Lilac looked around. The fire was rather big compared to the Slytherin common room, and the couches softer. There was more space to sit and more people messed around.
Lilac sat down with Weasley and they talked about homework a little, before Lilac decided to speed up the process."So... you don't have to, but do you want to talk about why you're sad?" Lilac asked, "I swear I won't tell anyone else if that's what you want." She looked at Weasley who hesitated. Then suddenly she started talking, letting Lilac into the whole secret.
"I thought it was an ordinary diary, so I started writing." Weasley explained, "What was weird was that the words disappeared, and often I got a reply. Saying someone was sorry for how my brothers acted, or that someone was feeling amazed by my achievement."
Lilac wondered why Weasley wrote down her life's story in an obviously enchanted object, but didn't say anything as she let Weasley talk.
"Then I started to black out, it was the strangest thing..." Ginny talked about how she woke up with odd things in her hands, like red paint. "I didn't know what to do, so I... I threw the book away."
Weasley stopped talking and wiped away an escaping tear, "Thank you for listening..." she sighed and looked down at her lap.Lilac stayed quiet for a second before she recalled what someone said in this fiction book once, "You did well, I mean, if it helped..." she gave Weasley a smile when she looked up, "I think it's my turn now, to help you."
"How do you mean?" Weasley asked, "How can you help? I threw the book away."
"Well, you walked to a place right?" Lilac smiled and clapped ehr hands together in slight excitement, "Show me around where you seemed to black out."
Weasley frowned, "I don't think that's smart..." she sighed, "But I can tell you, have you ever heard of Moaning Myrtle?"
Again that name! Lilac nodded, "I've met her, she's rather dramatic, huh."
"She is." Weasley nodded, "But that's not the point, it there where I blacked out."
"There? Are you sure?" Lilac tilted her head slightly, "Why—" She stopped repeating her thoughts out loud and got up.
"Where are you going?" Weasley asked, "You're not going there, right?"
Lilac ignored her and went trough the portrait hole, out of the Gryffindor common room.
She heard Weasley following her, so Lilac entered an empty classroom to confuse her. After a second, Lilac exited and found Weasley walking back to the direction of the Gryffindor Common room, probably thinking Lilac was long gone.Lilac happily walked trough the corridors all the way to Myrtles bathroom. She entered and looked around again. The sound of loud weeping came from one of the stalls, so Lilac made sure to stay quiet as she looked around.
"Snakes." Lilac suddenly noticed, before she put a hand in front of her mouth. Did she say that out loud?
