Chapter 17: Katrina's Fortune

Ai, Rosie, Margie, Pekoe, Gloria, Carmen and Whitney go out looking for Yú, Alfonso and Apollo.
"Do you remember where Yú and Alfonso were going?" asked Rosie to Ai.
"I remember them saying they were going to hang out with some other people" said Ai.
"On the way to the restaurant I think I saw them going into a Marquee" said Whitney. "Then on the way back I saw them in a sketchy ally."
"Oh no, I hope they're ok" said Ai.
"Oh please" said Rosie. "They wouldn't survive 5 minutes in the city which their silly behaviour."
"Rosie, be nice" said Margie.
"Hmmm, if I was Yú, where would I go?" said Ai to herself.
Ai then notices a dark building with odd symbols above the door.
"Yú would be interested in that" said Ai. "Let’s go in!"
They then all go into the building. Inside they see Yú, Alfonso, Knox, Clyde and Mott sitting down listening to a black panther.
"Oh, hi Ai!" said Yú. "This woman is really cool."
"Yeah, her name is Katrina and she can tell you your fortune.
"Oh can she?" said Rosie sarcastically.
"Why yes young girl" said Katrina. "Let me hold your hand and I shall tell your fortune."
"Um, we're fine" said Ai. "Now, Yú and Alfonso, will we go back?"
"Ok then, we’ll come" said Yú.
Everyone else walks out, except Whitney who stays.
"I'll be out to you all in a second" said Whitney.
She then sat down next to Katrina.
"Um, I was wondering if you can tell my fortune? asked Whitney.
"Why Yes!" said Katrina. "That'll be 100 bells."
Whitney then then gives the money to Katrina.
"So, is there anything on your mind?" asked Katrina.
"Well, I was once in a relationship with an eagle named Apollo" said Whitney. "Ever since I've kept thinking to myself that I'm totally fine without him. But I feel like there's something inside if me saying that I still have feelings for him."
"I see" said Katrina. "Well hold my hand and I shall tell you your fortune."
Whitney then puts her hand into Katrina's paw, then right after, Katrina starts doing chant.
"Keee ha mo-ata... Keee ha mo-atata... Loo-ta matata..." said Katrina. "YEEEEeeeeee!"
After doing that chant, Katrina tells Whitney her fortune.
"Hmm, I can tell that man might just love you back" said Katrina.
Whitney knew that to be true as somebody dropped off blue roses at her door a few months ago, but she never thought that it could be Apollo.
"My suggestion if you want everything to go all right, is to go with the flow" said Katrina.
"Go with the flow, what does that mean?" asked Whitney.
"Trust me" said Katrina. "Everything will go well."
"Um ok..." said Whitney.
Whitney then walks out where she catches up with Ai.
"What were you doing in there?" asked Ai.
"Oh, I was just talking to her for a bit" replied Whitney.
"Ok, well anyway we need to look for Apollo now" said Ai. "Whitney, do you know where he went?"
"I don't know" said Whitney. "He went the opposite direction I did when we left the restaurant. He could be anywhere by now!"
Suddenly Apollo appears behind Whitney.
"Oh um hi..." said Whitney. "Where were you?"
"I was just spending some time on my own for a while" said Apollo.
"Oh good, now we're all back together" said Ai. "So should we be heading back?"
"Hey wait, what’s that over there?" said Yú.
Yú points out a tunnel and he hears screaming and shouting inside.
"What’s in there?" said Ai.
"Well maybe Knox, Clyde and Mott will know!" said Alfonso.
"Actually, I don’t know what’s in there" said Knox. "None of us were brave enough to go in."
"I heard the person that went in there was scared for life" said Clyde.
"I heard that, well, I probably shouldn’t say" said Mott.
"Well what are we waiting for, let’s go in!" said Yú with pride.
"Um are you sure?" said Clyde. "Us city people haven't even gone in there. So there's no way a kid from the country like you could survive."
"Hey, me and Alfonso have become more then country people today" said Yú. "Today, we've became city folks! And besides, we have thirteen people by our side, so we'll be fine."
"Well, if you say so" said Mott.
"Great, now we'll have to wait even longer to go to bed" said Gloria.
Altogether, the group of friends go into the tunnel, not knowing what awaits them.
