"Honey, I think they don't have any vacant tables anymore. Let's just look around." Somi's father said as they entered the sushi place they found. It's pretty crowded, and being there isn't advisable either considering she's an actress... Now people are looking at her, sure they already recognized the actress but she really doesn't mind.

"Maybe there's still free space, I'm really craving sushi, Dad."

They went around but unfortunately, they didn't find any. Just as Somi is about to drag herself out of the place because there's no free table, she spots someone she is well known.

What a joke! Is she really seeing what she's seeing?

"Hey, Steven... right?"

The guy who was sitting at his table didn't reply right away. He was frozen like ice, he turned his phone off and after a minute, he finally lifted his head and turned to the actress.

"Hey! You... uhm, sorry, do I know you?"

Jerk. He swore he could literally slap himself as he saw the actress's expression. As if she didn't expect that question but it's not like she's offended.

"Hey, uhm... I hope so. It's been years, like... four maybe?"

"Oh?" the guy acted cluelessly as he plays with his chopsticks. He should find a way to calm himself or else he'll definitely say things he'll regret soon.

"Uhm, yeah... We met twice, once at a party and then well... the last one at the bar."

Steven's wide eyes tried to look away but failed, especially since the actress was towering over him, he was still in his chair.

"Party... party... oh right! I remember. At River's party! Somi, right?"

"Yeah, you remembered!" Somi beamed only then she noticed that maybe the guy was with someone else, seeing the other side of the table with food almost untouched.

"Oh sorry, are you with someone?"

"A-ah yeah... I'm uhhh, River, yeah! We're dating!"

Fuck.

Somi's brows shot up. She's dating River? The last time she knew was the guy's dating her best friend... well... her 'ex-best friend'

"Oh... River didn't mention she's dating someone. I guess we should meet again." Somi chuckled as she raised her brows playfully.

"Uhh, you met her?"

"Yeah, like the other day... wow. uhm, congrats— I mean, no, I mean, enjoy. Where is she anyway?"

"She's just uhh went outside to answer a call."

"Right, okay, uhm just tell her Hi. What a shame I need to go, there's no vacant seat around—"

"Somi, I found one table." Somi's father said who popped out from nowhere.

"Oh great! Dad, this is Steven, an old friend. He studied in the same university... right?"

"Yeah, Hi sir, please to meet you!"

"You too, son. Are you alone?"

"Ah no, he's with someone." Somi interrupted.

"Is that so? Go get to the table, I'll order us food."

Somi nodded and watched her father go to order. She looked back at Steven after a second and saw him also looking at her.

"It's nice to see you again. I'm not going to bother you with your thing, have fun!"

"Yeah, same to you, have a nice day."
