In My Arms (Beronica)

Betty's POV

I was trying my best to quietly sneak down the stairs but I wasn't trying hard enough because I heard Polly's door close from upstairs

Polly- (smirks) "where are you off to at this hour" she asked after she reached the bottom of the stairs Betty- "shh, keep your voice down. And you know exactly where I'm going" Polly- "oo a bootie call perhaps?" Betty- (sighs) "she called me, her parents aren't coming back tonight and it's our only chance we'll have to be together for the next two weeks"

Polly- "wow really? It must suck having a secret relationship" Betty- "yeah, tell me about it" Polly- "why don't you just tell mom and dad" Betty- "you know I can't, they would lose their minds if they found out I was dating a girl they'd either kick me out or send me to the sisters"

Polly- "so what should I tell them when you're gone in the morning?" Betty- "tell them I went to Pop's with Archie, I'll text him to cover for me" Polly- "I'm sorry Betty, I really am" Betty- (sighs) "yeah, so am I"

I put my shoes on before carefully opening the door. On the way to Ve's, I was trying desperately to get my parents out of my head. They hated Cheryl for dating a girl and won't even let her in the house. God knows what they would do to me

I reached the Pembroke and was immediately pulled into a steamy kiss by Veronica

Veronica- "I missed you" Betty- (smiles) "I've missed you too" I knew she could tell I was acting weird so once we finally got settled in bed. Veronica- "so? What happened?" She tucked a piece of hair behind my ear as I sighed. Betty- "I hate that I have to hide our relationship, I can't do it anymore"

She smiled. Veronica- "it's just another year, then we'll be living in our New York apartment just the two of us" Betty- (giggles) "I can't wait" she kissed me, it got heated quickly and the next morning I woke up naked in her arms

Veronica- (smiles) "morning sleeping beauty" she kissed my head. Betty- "do you ever stop smiling?" Veronica- "not around you, c'mon let's go get some breakfast" she stood up as I stared and blushed. Veronica- (smirks) "like what you see Cooper?" I blushed harder as she leaned down and kissed me. Veronica- "I'll get dressed and meet you in the kitchen"

She went into her closet and came out wearing very short jean shorts and cropped sweater. She winked at me before leaving me to get dressed. I quickly got changed and ran out to see Veronica standing in the kitchen

Veronica- "anything in particular that you would like? Betty- "parents who would accept me for who I am?" Veronica- "that's a tall one but remember what I said last night? Our New York apartment is waiting for us, we'll get married and start a family far away from this fucked up town"

I smiled as she wrapped her arms around my neck and my hands fell to her hips. Betty- (giggles) "was that a proposal?" Veronica- "could be, what do you think?" Betty- "I think I would love to marry you and have our dream life"

she laughed and kissed me. Veronica- "perfect, now all we have to do it wait" Betty- "god it's going to take forever" Veronica- "yes but it will be worth it" she kissed me cheek before we broke apart and made some pancakes

We were sitting down to eat when suddenly her parents came in the door Hermione- "morning ladies" Veronica told her parents about us and luckily they were okay with it, it was my parents that were the problem

Betty- "hi Mr and Mrs Lodge" Hermione- "oh Betty please, we're way past that point" she hugged me as Veronica tried to hide a laugh. Hiram- "we trust you two, don't screw it up" Veronica- "yes daddy, I just forgot I asked her over"

He nodded as they left us alone. I was blushing hard and she definitely noticed. Veronica- (smirks) "embarrassed?" Betty- "n-no, I just feel bad"

her smirk faded as she took my hand and led me to the living room. Veronica- "why do you feel bad?" Betty- "we can actually hang out with your parents and I'm always over here, I feel bad that I can't invite you over" Veronica- "Be, I know why you can't"
