North Side Princess (Coopaz)

Betty's POV

I was walking through the south side of town by myself. I just wasn't feeling myself and wanted to get away from my life for a little bit plus I had to find somewhere to stay. I had just found out that I was Pregnant with Archie's baby but he had moved on to Veronica. My parents didn't let me stay with them once I told then my decision to keep it

I was walking around when suddenly I was grabbed by a guy I didn't know. ??- "so you're the northside princess?" I tried to wiggle free but his grip was too strong. Betty- (in tears) "please, just let me go"

??- "sorry sweetheart, my dad wants a word" I cried the whole time, he took me to a weird bar on the south side and was met by a ton of guys but as be was dragging me in I made eye contact with this girl. She had an apologetic look on her face as she shook her head and went back to cleaning the bar

I was taken into an office and found the leader of the serpents Fp Jones. ??- "look who I found walking on the wrong side of the tracks" Fp- "well  well, Elizabeth Anne Cooper" Betty- "it's Betty" I tried to stand tall but I could feel my knees buckling. Fp- "well well, look whose being super tough" Betty- "I didn't mean to cross the tracks, I'm sorry" Fp- "doesn't matter, you crossed into serpent territory" ??- "which means you deal with us"

I couldn't keep it together anymore and I started sobbing. Betty- (cries) "please, my parents don't even care about me. I'm alone with a baby" I saw both of their faces soften as they looked at each other. Fp- "Jug, why don't you take her back to the trailer" he nodded and took my hand as I wiped a tear away

We walked downstairs as the girl and I made eye contact again. Jughead- "Topaz, I need your bike" she came over to us with her arms crossed. ??- "good try Jones, That's my baby"  Jughead- "it's bigger and I need to take this one back to the trailer" ??- "I'll take her to mine, you and your dad don't have enough room" Jughead- "Betty, this is Toni" Betty- (softly) "H-Hi" Toni- (chuckles) "hey, let's get you away from this weirdo and get you somewhere more comfortable"

She took my hand and led me out of the bar. we stopped in front of her motorcycle and she tried to give me her helmet but I didn't take it. Betty- "I-I can't, I-I don't- I'm sorry" Toni- (chuckles) "why not?" Betty- "it just looks dangerous and I-I well" I just put my hands on my stomach hoping she would understand and luckily she did. Toni- "I get it, I'll be careful but we shouldn't stay here" Betty- "I don't know Toni" Toni- "we could walk, but it's a little far"

I look back and forth between the bike and Toni before sighing and taking the helmet. Betty- "please be care, this baby is all I have left" She nodded as we both got on the bike. I didn't open my eyes the entire ride until I heard her chuckle and grabbed my hand

Toni- "told you I'd be careful, now let's get you inside" I nodded as she draped her serpent jacket around my shoulders. Betty- "that's not necessary Toni, I'm fine" Toni- "I know, I just thought it would look good on you"

I blushed as she walked me inside. She sat me down on the couch and handed me a glass of water. Betty- "you don't have to baby me, hell before I started crying I was probably going to be held for ransom" Toni- "nah, they would've let you go. They try to tough but they have soft underbelly's"

She rubbed my shoulder until the short sleeve of my t-shirt rolled up and she saw a giant bruise on my arm. Toni- "Betty? What's this?" She pulled my sleeve all the way up and gasped

Toni- "Betty, what the hell" she touched it as I winced and she pulled her hand away. Toni- "sorry, sorry. What happened" Betty- (sighs) "I told my mom I was keeping my baby and she pushed me into a bookshelf"

Toni- "oh my god, I'm so sorry" Betty- "don't be, I'm not living there anymore" Toni- "really? Where are you staying then?" I shrugged and put my water cup down on the table. Betty- "tonight's   my first night, my mom didn't let me get any of my stuff so I was probably just gonna.. um? I actually don't know what I was going to do"

I awkwardly chuckled as she grabbed my hand. Toni- "okay that's it, I'm getting you some clothes and you're staying with me" Betty- "what? Toni I can't intrude like that" Toni- "you can't tell me you have no where to go and then expect me to not do anything" I looked down at my lap as she sat closer to me

Toni- "it's okay, I'm gonna help you figure it out" Betty- "why? You barely even know me and besides, I'm gonna have a baby. I can do it myself" Toni- "no you can't, no one can and I think you know that" I felt a couple of tears roll down my face. I stood up and walked to the other side of the trailer. I crossed my arms as she stood up to comfort me

Betty- (in tears) "why did this happen to me, what did I do?" Toni- (sighs) "I don't know you well enough to answer that question but I do think that you're a good person and no one deserves to go through this" she uncrossed my arms and took both of my hands

Toni- (softly) "I know it's hard, I went through the same thing" I paused and looked at her. She had a couple of tears on her face and looked really upset. Betty- (softly sniffles) "what happened?" Toni- (sniffles) "I-I was supposed to have a baby boy, I was alone and scared but I-I figured it out a little and was looking forward to meeting him hell all the serpents were" I didn't know that Serpents were close the way they were and I didn't know what happened but I didn't push her

Betty- (softly) "you don't have to tell me, but you can if you want" she nodded and wiped her face. Toni- "I-I was taken by the our rivals, the goulies. I pleaded but they didn't care. I had a still birth a week after they let me go"

Betty- "o-oh my gosh Toni, I'm so sorry. That must've been so hard on you" Toni- "it was hard on all of us, we all help each other and when we fall we help. Maybe we could help you, just like the serpents helped me"

I looked at her as she gave me a small smile. Betty- "y-you think they would?" Toni- "oh I know they would, because I would make them" I giggled a little bit as she stroked my cheek. Toni- "my past still haunts me sometimes, especially when I have to play the storage company that's keeping all of the things I got for him"

Betty- "you kept everything?" Toni- (sighs) "I couldn't part with it, it would've been like it never happened and he was still my baby" Betty- "Toni, I'm sorry that it happened like that. You seem like you would be the best mom in the world" She smiled a little bit as she took my hand again. Toni- "and you're going to be amazing too"  Betty- (smiles) "thanks Toni, and you're really okay with letting me stay here?" Toni- "definitely"

She hugged me before getting up and grabbing me a pair of pyjamas. The next day she went straight to Fp and Jughead while I stayed at her trailer. I wasn't feeling the best so I just stayed in bed until she came back

Toni- "Betty?" Betty- (groans) "in here" she walked into the bedroom and found me covering my eyes while rubbing my stomach.  Toni- "you okay?" Betty- "I'm not great, but I know it'll pass"  Toni- "so I have some good news" Betty- "what is it?" Toni- "you can be a serpent, well only if you want too" I gasped and sat up. Betty- "oh my god Toni! How?" Toni- "well I told them what you were going through and they said you could be a serpent" Betty- "just like that?" Toni- (chuckles) "just like that"

I wrapped my arms around her tightly as she laughed again. Betty- "thank you Toni, you're amazing" Toni- "and so are you" I blushed as she put her hand on my cheek. We sat there for a couple seconds before I put my hand up to her cheek. Betty- (softly) "Toni.." I leaned in and kissed her. After I realized what I did I immediately pulled back but she smiled and put her hand on the back of me head before pulling me in for another kiss

We made out for about a minute before we both pulled back and chuckled. Betty- "sorry, my breath is horrible. I've been throwing up all morning" Toni- (chuckles) "it's fine, it was definitely worth it" Betty- (blushes) "really? I'm probably a little rusty" Toni- "you're just perfect Betty, I promise"

I laughed and kissed her again as we laid down in bed. Betty- "so does this mean...?"  Toni- "that you're my girlfriend? Well I kinda hope so"

She kissed my cheek as I closed my eyes and smiled. Betty- (yawns) "I want you to be" Toni- "then that's what I am, now you should try and get some more sleep" she kissed my forehead as I fell asleep in her arms

A few months later I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and all of the Serpents loved her. I named her Serena and Toni and I raised her together. She was our pride and joy even though she was the daughter of the North side princess
