Spider-Man : Into The Spider-verse
Madelyn is a part of the same universe as Miles, when she was a teenager she got pit by a radioactive spider while trying to help her friend,Harry Osborn, before having to leave Oscorp when Peter encountered her knowing they had the same fate making them fall in love with each other. She's told to leave when her Peter gets injured before Kingpin ends it, leaving her alone and upset that he's gone. Quickly after making the city think she disappeared from her putting away her mask and trying to just be another person instead of her hero-self. The night Peter and Miles meet, Peter goes to where they lived in his universe leading him to find her. The both clearly having a connection but also grieving towards the other one. Peter later explains to Miles, she died years ago in his universe by falling off a building accidentally. The two start to have love for each other while remembering the other version of them in their own worlds. She becomes close to Gwen remembering her old friend from years ago who had a terrible fate herself while she was trying to save Harry,Peter tried to save her. She becomes terrified of Kingpin when she sees him again, when he mentions Peter's death, she goes after him in a vengeful mind not carrying if it hurts him. Until while pulling Miles away from the fight including her leaving her distressed towards the situation. After she takes a step back letting Miles take over, after the fight Peter and her go in-between universes to see each other more often leading to her having Mayday as she tries to stay in his world permanently.
