There had been an attack in the woods the previous night and Jericho was mildly concerned.
After being scolded by her cousin and Elena, she decided to leave the party early and head home.
Jericho was the king of minding her business so when they were talking about the animal attack, she tuned out.
Bonnie and Caroline were discussing whether or not she had powers and the other Bennett was playing on her nintendo ds.
"Earth to Jericho," Caroline called as the girl looked at her. "Is your cousin a witch?"
"Not today at least," she muttered, earning a laugh from the blonde and a glare from Bonnie. "You know we do have magic, right ?"
"You're worse than Grams..." she said as Jericho shrugged.
She knew sooner or later Bonnie would get over being in denial and decided to let her take her own journey.
Caroline was going on about this guy she met at the grill, last night and Jericho was disinterested.

The girls were talking amongst themselves and then there was Jericho who was eating.
Bonnie mentioned how the comet tonight was a sign of impending doom, or something of that sort. Grams had a similar conversation with Jericho but the teen forgot it already.
Her retaining memory could use some work.
Caroline was being unreceptive to Bonnie's statement and Jericho smacked her teeth. "Watch it, blondie." she told her friend who muttered an apology to her cousin.
Elena was talking about her rendezvous with Stefan and Jericho tuned it out.
Caroline, as always, fished for explicit information while Elena admitted her and Stefan did nothing worthy of story telling.
Jericho honestly cared less about Elena getting her back blown out. She was just here to be in the company of her cousin.
Although she may seem standoff-ish and aloof, Jericho didn't mind being a placeholder at times.
