It was early as hell and Jericho was helping set up the school fair with Elena and Bonnie. Her cousin was relaying what took place between them and Katherine. Meanwhile, Jericho was scolding some ninth graders who were messing around. "You little shits are supposed to fill the balloons up, not spray each other. Get serious!"
She went around managing everyone and making sure everything was correct, years of Caroline's particular style rubbed off on her. Hospital or not, she knew her best friend would want everything to be in top notch shape.
Bonnie and Elena were setting up the ring toss and Jericho was parading around going berserk on anyone who wasn't taking this carnival serious. Jericho stopped the youngest Gilbert, "Hey, here you go. When you hear the annoying bell sound just bang on the thing and keep it pushing."
"Oh, thanks Jericho." his eyes lingered on her small figure as she checked off her list. She gave Elena and Bonnie the tasks she didn't want to do and took the responsibility of telling everyone else what to do. "Hey, you still with Tyler?"
"I was never with Tyler, little Gilbert. I don't know why that would concern you." she flung her hair behind her— out of her face as she watched everyone else from a distance.
"It doesn't concern me," he states, watching her walk in the opposite direction. Jeremy jogged her way as she fixed some improperly placed objects. "You think we could play some games here tonight, together?"
Jericho stopped in her tracks and sent the Gilbert a look. "Why would you think I'd agree to that?"
"I didn't think you would, but I figured I don't have anything else to lose." Jeremy admitted, with a half smirk.
Jericho would be lying if she said she wasn't intrigued. Jeremy is someone she saw sporadically, he would speak to her when they made eye contact. Sometimes she'd get him out of trouble when she was bored.
"I guess two games wouldn't hurt." she spoke, walking away after she had been called by some classmates of hers.
