Jericho had been called down to the police station for a statement regarding Vicki Donovan and she was irritated yet not surprised. They live in a small town, of course this was going to be all that went on.

The Bennett girl dabbed her tears in the corner of her eyes before sitting down. After Jericho recited what she practiced before hand, Liz stopped her.

Deciding to rip the bandaid off, Sheriff Forbes told Jericho about her father's death and everything that happened. Jericho kept a straight face and everything went numb for her.

All this time, everyone around her.

They were lying to her. Smiling in her face and acting as if her dad was still on a work trip. "So this whole time, everyone that claimed they cared about me knew he was dead."

"It was for your health, Jericho please," Liz said with pain in her eyes. The Bennett was like a daughter and to see her lose trust because she thought she was doing the right thing.

"How long?" she asked, standing up and pacing. Elizabeth told her it's been three weeks and she walked out of the office.

Jericho felt her emotions fighting each other. She wasn't upset that her dad was murdered, what put her over the edge is the people around her moving on as if he didn't do anything for this town.

With explanation, the sheriff gave apparently the killer had turned himself in and that's why she decided to tell her. Jericho didn't know where to go and found herself at Stefan and Damon's mansion.

The eldest Salvatore saw her storm through the door. He studied her body language and paused in his tracks. "What a lovely, delightful surprise, Coco."

Jericho didn't say anything, she hugged his torso tight as tears poured. Although this confused the vampire, a wave of compassion went over him as he hesitantly returned her hug.

A moment passed and Jericho decided to nap on one of the couches in the living room, she woke up to a door closing and she sat up immediately.

There was a blond across from her, drinking what appeared to be a blood-bag. "Hi, I'm Lexi,"

Jericho nodded, "You are the most stunning woman, I have ever seen."

"Wow, I like you already." Lexi admitted, putting what she considered food down. "Are you Elena?"

"Hell no," Jericho scoffed, stealing a glance at her nails.
