Happily ever after? Me?

Chapter 12

*1 month later*
Ally's P.O.V
Thats right, it's been a month and i'm getting ready for my first date with my mate. We arranged a meet up at the local Mall with me , Maya, her friend Liam Vahle, and Ed (my mate). I'm nervous, what if he changes how he feels after today? What if he sees me as a total loser and rejects me? I sigh and push all those thoughts away. No, today i am going to have fun with my mate and my friends. I smile at the thought of seeing Maya again, i haven't seen her since we broke up for easter holidays last week. I grab my phone, bag, and purse before stepping out of my room and going to the bus station.
*15-20 mins later*
I'm currently standing at our meeting spot, waiting for everyone when i see Maya and her friend Liam. I grin and run to them.
"Hey girl, what ya been up to?"
I smile, and reply "well you know, fighting ninjas, eating food, tickling monkeys, you get the gist" we laugh, and i turn to Liam. "Hey, i'm Ally, nice to put a face to a name that i've heard too many times" we hug and walk to the escalator where i call my mate to let him know we're waiting for him. As i hang up, the realisation dawns on me. I'm meeting my mate, and not just at school or at his pack house. As a real date. I spot his reflection in the escalator glass and i hide behind Maya "i'm not here ok?" She laughs and moves away. I sigh and stand up straight and look just in time to see him walking... Past us. "Ed!" I call. He turns and smiles, and i walk to him to give him a hug as a hello. We talk about where we would go first, and we decide on the Disney Store. We all walk together and i move my hand to my mates and we hold hands. It was an 'awwww' moment, it really was. Anyways, we entered the Disney Store and the inner child in me woke up. Shelves and shelves of toys were in my sight, and i grinned when i heard "when will my life begin" from 'Tangled'. (A/n play attached video here) All it took was a look at Maya, and we were both singing along without a care. We all walked around the shop and i spotted lots of things that made me smile. Ed walks up to me and i smile "choose something" i smile mischievously and shake my head, and quickly walk to the exit. But, luck isn't on my side as Liam grabs my hand and pulls me back inside. Ed walks up to me and holds my hand to make sure i don't walk off again. I sigh, and look around the store when something catches my eye. It's an adorable Stitch pillow and i smile as i remember the film. I pick it up and hand it to Ed, who walks to the checkout to buy it. I look at Maya and smile at her, and do the same with Liam. When i turn around again, my mate hands me the stitch pillow and i smile and thank him.
*4 hours later*
After many hours of laughing cuddling, and hanging out, we all decide to call it a day. I hug everyone goodbye and walk to my bus. I hand the driver my return ticket and grab a seat. I grin at today's memories and decide to take a nap as it's a long bus ride home
