A/N- Picture above is what Vulcan (Vahle's Demon) looks like

Maya's P.O.V
Time had stopped. Literally. I could see, feel, smell, hear everything, but I couldn't move. But Vahle could. I watched as he casually walked past the frozen semi explosion and made his way to me, Determination written all over his face. I watched how his human side vanished, and his Demon, Vulcan, took over. He was a little taller in his demon form, but I could still tell it was him. In each hand he grasped a weapon, but to any other eyes it was unclear, he knew what it was, and I knew it was enough to kill me. Vahle- no, Vulcan smiled, but it was far from friendly, it was more of a "I'm going to kill everyone you love starting with your mate" smile, instead of a "hey! I missed you!" smile. If I could've, I would've gulped, but seeing as I couldn't, I settled for saying "OH SHIIIIITTTTTTTTTT"  in my head. It seemed to have the same effect. It seems strange, but I was  mesmerized. Everything was just..... still, and it was beautiful. I wonder if the rest of the school is frozen? Or if it's just this room? I was so caught up in my thoughts, that I didn't realise Vahle was in front of me. I stood there, but my eyes held panic.  Vulcan studied me as if I was a test, which is ironic, considering we're in a school. Sorry, wrong time for a joke. Ugh! Concentrate Maya! Vulcan's eyes narrowed and he was about to say something when he lost concentration on the time-stop spell, and time continued. Surprisingly, the tube wasn't there to explode. H-how? He didn't  grab it. I turned to ask him, but with a blinding flash, he was gone.
