She enters inside through the main door and is capturing the beautiful site forever through her eyes. She was lost in her thoughts. When someone tapped on her shoulder.....
"Hey pretty girl.... Congrats", he said.
Thanks, She replied turning back.
Youu!!, Avni was shocked to see him.
" Isme itna bhi kya shocking tha miss mathur after all it's my house", He said with a big smile.
He is right after all it's his own house but still Avni was quite surprised to see Vedant after almost 3 years. She didn't meet Vedant after he went for his training in NDA and after 2 months she went to Kota for Neet's preparation. Both of them use to visit their home in breaks but in their case timings didn't match.
"Hey!! ", Vedant snapped his fingers in front of her eyes and she came back to the real world.
" Ohh.. W.. Woh tum itne time baad... H.. Hello.. How's everything going ", Avni didn't know how she must talk to him.
" Why are you being so formal?? ",asked Vedant.
" Achaa... Aisa.... Haa toh batao kitne din ruk ke naak mein dam krne vaale ho", said Avni being bossy all of a sudden.
"Aree...waah badi jaldi comeback kar liya...toh pure 10 din Avni mathur yhi tumhare sar par savaar rahunga... Hmm don't worry", said Vedant with a mischievous smile.
" Ohh please not me... Tum kisi or ko khoj lo pareshaan krne ke liye", Avni said all annoyed.
"Waise when are you going to pass out from the NDA", asked Avni.
" Noo...Not at all", replied Avni rolling her eyes.
" It's next month.Well I was going to invite you... But yeah your choice", Again he said knowingly to irritate her.
"Well I am quite surprised Avni... How can you be so studios.... 710 out of 720 is a big deal girl... Congrats", Vedant congratulated Avni.
" Haa....sabko yhi lagta hai ek tum hi topper ho sakte ho....The disciplined,studious , perfectionist Vedaant sharma......btw Thank you ", said Avni with a pretentious smile.
" Yeh Thank you meri maa ko bolna jinhone tumhare liye yeh dawaat-nama rakha hai", said Vedant not being annoyed with whatever Avni said.
And well this is the reason Avni want to annoy him, irritate him.... To just make him feel bad.. Because his perfections is the main root cause for her father to ignore her achievements as he is everyone's favorite she feels.
She left the argument there only and went into the house to look for Sumitra Aunty. She saw her in the kitchen preparing the dinner. She went to her and hugged her from the back.
"Aree tu aa gyi badi der kr di", said Sumitra smiling.
" Aunty apke pyare bete ne rasta rok diya.... Aapne din mein mujhe bataya nhi ki Ved aaya hai", complained Avni.
"Aree beta main tujhe din mein kaise batati... Wo abhi 1 ghante phle aaya hai. Ved toh kal aane waala tha aapne dost ke ghar se... Wo phle waha gya tha... Ho skta hai tere result ka sunkar aaj aa gya ho", said Sumitra.
" Hmm mera majak udane ke liye.... Usne socha nhi hoga ki mera result itna achaa jayega", said Avni rolling her eyes.
"Nhi pagal...wo bhala tujhee kyu Chidhayega", said Sumitra
" Acha Aunty just leave him and tell me aapne kis kis ko bulaya hai", said Avni.
"Batati hu phle meri jara kitchen mein help kara degi?? ", asked Sumitra.
" Of course Aunty", said Avni.
Avni's POV
The dinner went amazing. I met some of my high school friends and many other knowns. Eisha was as usual late from the time she herself give. And even surprised me... Now she has changed her mind.. She will not pursue Bba . She will be taking a one year's drop and preparing for Neet. Yeh achaa hai jab maine 2 saal phle kaha tha ki mere saath hi Kota chal tab nhi ayi. Well I will wish her best in everything.
I had a good conversation with everyone at the dinner....... Even with Ved. I think the army training has really changed Vedant. Well he was already a disciplined and decent guy. But he was never that chivalric with me.... Like pulling the chair and all..... quite strange. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone. It's Aadi Bhaiya.
Avni:--"Hii bhaiya "
Aditya:--"Hello... Kaisi hai meri titli?.... How was your dinner? "
Avni:--"Bhaiya aap kam se kam ab toh mujhe ye titli mat bulao... I am 17."
Aditya:--"Chupp Badi aayi 17.....abhi tu bachi hi hai....beta abhi toh tune life dekhi hi kaha hai. "
Avni:--"Hmmm.... Dinner toh Achaa hi tha... Bhaiya Vedant bhi ghar aya hua hai."
Aditya:--"Haa uski bhi NDA ki training khatam hi hone waali hai....hmm par Usse jyada baat karne ki jarurat nhi hai. "
Avni:--"Meri ab usse kaha itni baat hoti hai.... Par aap aisa kyu bol rahe ho? "
Aditya:--"Nhi just aise hi.... Konsa tum dono Batchmates ho...aur Wo to tujhse 3 saal bada bhi hai. "
Avni:--"Hmmm.... Acha Bhaiya aap kab aa rhe ho? "
Aditya:--"This Sunday. "
Avni:--"Sachiiiii bhaiyaa"
Aditya:-- "Apna dhyaan rakhna....aur jab tak Baba ya main na aa jau tab tak Sumitra aunty ke alawa kisi ke sath bahar mat jana.... Not even your friend Eisha. "
Avni:--"But bhaiyaa.. "
Aditya:-- "Avni no excuse.... Abhi tum choti ho. "
Avni:-- "okay fine"
Avni :--" Bhaiyaa baba kab tak aayenge. "
Aditya:--" Avni... B.. Beta I am not sure may be after two weeks...... Don't worry but main definitely Sunday tak aa jaunga".
Avni:-- " Bhaiya pakka na Sunday..... After 4 days "
Aditya:--" Aree haa pakka.... Confirm till Sunday I'll be back home.... I promise. "
Avni:--"Okay Bhaiya... I am looking forward to seeing you . "
Aditya:--"Hmm chalo beta abb mein phone rakhta hu.... Take care good night. "
Avni:--" Byye bhaiya good night. "
