My eyes fluttered open, Matt and I are still snuggled together. I moved slowly as to not wake him up, and went over to the window. To my surprise, it was rainy. I love love love the rain. It's so peaceful, and comforting. I let out a happy gasp. Matt giggled, "What are you gasping at sweetheart?" His voice still raspy and groggy. I love his morning voice."Oh no I'm so sorry I didn't mean to wake you up-"
"It's okay don't worry I don't mind." He chuckled.
I pointed to the window with a smile on my face.
"Matt look it's raining!"
"How hard?" He replied.
"Just enough," I ran over to his bed and jumped on him, cuddling him. He groaned, and laughed.
"Matttttt we have to go on a super cute Christmas rainy day date and decorate the Christmas tree, and make hot coco, and watch movies, and-"
"Okay, we will," he cut me off, laughing.
"Can I go in my pjs?" He asked getting up.
"That's half the fun of rainy day dates, you get to be in pjs." I replied.
"Okay, then let's go." He gestured towards the door.

"Y/N, you've checked off our list like a thousand times, we got everything we need." He giggled.
"I knowww I just wanna make sure."
"Okay," he said.
"Cookie dough, check. Hot coco, check. Candles, check. Matching ornaments, check.......okay, fine I'll stop, we have everything."
"Okay, here we are." He said, pulling into the driveway."
"YAYY" I squealed, and darted towards the door. Matt laughed.
"Okay, Matt, pick a movie while I start making hot coco, then we'll decorate the tree with the movie in the background."
"Okay, sounds perfect baby." I made the hot coco, and put it into our favorite mugs. Matt picked Charlie Brown Christmas. "AWWWW I love this movie, Matt."
"I know, that's why I picked it." He said giggling.

We were decorating the tree with all of our favorite ornaments. I was reaching for a spot near the top of the tree, but I couldn't reach it. Matt came up behind me, one hand on. My hip for balance, took the ornament from my hand and placed it on the tree where I wanted it. I was blushing so hard. "Matt." I turned to him, smiling. "Yes?" He said turning to face me.
I gave him a peck on the lips, "thank you for taking me to the store and everything."
I turned away to resume decorating but Matt grabbed my wrist and pulled me back in, he kissed me, very lovingly. His hand caressing my jaw guiding me with him. We pulled away.
"Of course, I'll drive you around anywhere, at anytime. I love you so much." He touched his forehead to mine. "I love you more." I gave him a big hug, and we stayed like that for a minute.
"I love rainy days." I said.
"Why?"
"Because good days like this always fall on rainy days."
