Flames engulfed a cottage, smoke pouring through the now broken windows and any other holes the place had. The fire had been caught by many passing pedestrians and neighbours that lived close to the place. Many of them stopped to look and watch as the fire roared. Everyone who watched was deeply concerned as the family that lived there struggled to get out.

Thankfully, the firefighters had come to the scene before things could get worse. A group of the firefighters rushed inside, breaking down the door and going in to rescue the family. One of them came out minutes later with the mother who held the cat in her hands. Her legs terribly burnt and her appearance unkept.

A couple seconds later, two of the firefighters ran out now with the father. Just like the mother, he looked terrible but had blood streaming down his forehead along with a large gash across his chest.

"Get them to the nearest hospital, and fast,"

However, there was one person that had yet to come out of the flames. Fortunately, the mother was able to open her eyes and yell out one thing.

"(y/n)...!"

Her voice was weak but was able to get the attention of the nearby fire fighters and made them rush inside the almost destroyed building. Out they came with a young girl, that had a large gash across her forehead. Blood poured down her face, staining her now dirty night clothes.

They paramedics wasted no time in strapping down the three family members and rushing them off to the nearest hospital. (y/n) fell in and out of consciousness, the paramedic trying to keep her heart rate stable while trying to stop the bleeding that came from her forehead. Until eventually, she flatlined.

(y/n) quickly shot up from her sleep, her heart racing from how real that dream felt. After a minute of calming herself down, she turned over to her alarm clock and read the time. Only reading about 5:30 am. Way earlier than she was supposed to wake up. Nevertheless, after having such a nerve wrecking dream, she just decided to get up earlier.

Making her way to the bathroom, the girl got ready for school that day. Doing the normal teenager routine of brushing her teeth, doing her hair, and anything else really. After getting out of the bathroom, she quietly walked back to her room to pick out what she'd wear for the day.

After a minute or two of decided, (y/n) chose to go with a simple (o/o/c)* . As she changed, the girl couldn't help but still feel very shaken up about the dream she had. It was so real, like a memory from a past life. She felt she should bring it up with her mother but decided against it as the woman already had enough to worry about.

Suddenly, her walkie-talkie buzzed, making her rush over to it and quieting it down. Scared of waking her mother.

"Hey, (y/n). You up?" it was Sal on the other line.
