The autumn weather of Nockfell was colder than it had ever been during the season. Feeling like it could freeze your face off in a matter of seconds.

(y/n) bundled up inside her room. Her (f/c) bed sheets draped on her legs. A book open in her lap.

It was the original story of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. This story always astonished the girl whenever she reads it.

Plus it was the perfect time for (y/n) bring out her horror novel collection. As it was nearing closer and closer to Halloween.

As the girl sat down in the bed, she felt her stomach rumble. A beast demanding to be fed. She groaned, knowing that her hunger couldn't be ignored.

"I just got comfortable..." Her covers were thrown off her legs, slithering out of the bed like a stream of water.

Looking inside the fridge, there was no good foods except for bread made for a wrap, salsa in a jar, a ketchup bottle and a mustard bottle.

"A mustard, ketchup, salsa wrap? Ugh, no thanks,"

The fridge door slammed closed, the girl leaning on it as she let out a big groan.

(m/n) was out of town for some business relating to a potential job and (y/n) didn't feel like going grocery shopping. She couldn't order pizza either as the place was a.) sketchy as hell, b.) always messed up her orders, and c.) always had something wrong with their equipment.

Just as she was about to go and actual consider making that disgusting abomination of a lunch, her landline began to ring.

Curious, she picked her grey phone up and placed it on her ear.

"(l/n) place, who's calling?" She answered.

"Hey, (y/n/n), how's it going?" A familiar female voice answered.

Her face glowed with joy, "Ashley! Do you have any food? I'm so hungry that I could eat a whole restaurant,"

A small laugh could be heard from the other side of the line, "Ha! I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to come to this diner that's near the apartments. Larry, Todd and Sally Face are also coming,"

For some odd reason when Sal's name was mentioned, her heart did a flip. Her face became heated as she went silent for a moment.
