I shivered uncontrollably, at the temperature and because of the sudden memory. I stiffly looked at the board, right foot yellow. I have to move. I closed my eyes and tried to move but couldn't. I literally couldn't move, I was frozen in place and more than just my hand now. I felt my tears start to freeze on my face.

"Kimi, right foot yellow." Aoi mumbled lowly.

"I'm trying." I could just barely say back to him. A cry coming out with it, the desperation clear as I strained to move.

My face shriveled from the strain and stress, trying not to cry and the urge to just give up was creeping in the back of my mind. I can't let my brother die, not after I tried so hard over the years to keep him safe. I-I just can't. Not now. I pulled at my leg more. More tears freezing on my face as I tried. My once labored and almost non existing heart rate started to beat faster and my breathing started to pick up. I gritted my teeth and I continued to free myself. Aoi, I won't let you die.. I groan trying to move my foot, feeling more of my body freeze up. I mentally growled, and pushed my foot even more. Trying to loosen it even in the slightest. The ice traveled further up my neck, less than a minute left. I looked at Aoi, seeing him staring up at the ceiling. Aoi, no matter what's happened to us you always managed to be a bright kid. You always laugh and smile. It's not me that's saved you our entire lives, but the other way around. You saved me, because without you I probably would have ended my life a long, long time ago. I breathed out and closed my eyes and mustered what little strength I could and pushed my foot outward. Finally I heard and felt a little crack. I opened my eyes and used one more full force kick forward. The ice shattered away and quickly stomped a foot down on a yellow circle.

Ginti's POV

This girl... is incredible. She managed to break free from the ice and save her and her brother from death... so to speak anyways. I watched their reactions observantly as the mat and the floor around them suddenly dropped. The only things holding them up were the circles they were on. The girl's eyes went wide and the boy almost lost it. The girl, she's stronger than I anticipated. I felt a jolt of pain run throughout my chest. Her words from earlier ringing out in my head. 'You're crazy!' The look she gave me flashing throughout my head. What the hell is this?! Her face kept flashing throughout my head, her smiling from earlier, the terrified face she has now, the look of shock. All of them just keep flashing throughout my head. My breathing became labored and came out as short gasps. It was finally them calming down from before that I started to calm down as well. The pain, still radiating in my chest. It feels.. so foreign. I breathed in deeply and turned my full attention to the two before me. Kimi, one foot slightly behind her, the other two rows out in front of her. Both her hands on either side of her, just barely keeping her balanced. As for Aoi, it was as if he were doing the crab walk. Both feet in front of him, behind Kimi. And both hands behind him. Kimi screamed once more looking down below her, something twisting up in my chest at the sound. I flinched at the sound, but chose to continue to ignore it and continued on with the judgement.
