Night out

I stared at the door and just sat there.

Charles had walked out over 10 minutes ago but I couldn't pull myself from my spot. I took a seat in the floor and just sat there.

He just told me that he never stopped loving me.

It played through my head over and over again.

I sighed and stood up taking a deep breath. I got to get out of my room.

I didn't have to completely cover up as I left the track. I could just leave because I'm an official driver now.

I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door.

After I signed some things and snapped a few pictures I went to the car so I could get back to the hotel. I tried to just not think about anything.

Charles would be there tonight which meant Charlotte would be there and that just is repulsive.

I just want a hug honestly.

I picked up my phone and pulled up Arthur's number as I entered the hotel room. I had it saved from Pascale she said I need them just in case.

"Hello?"

"Hey Arthur. It's A.J."

"A.J. Like our A.J. Like Athena. Because if this is someone playing some sick fucking prank I will find you and-"

I cut Arthur off. "Yes it's me!"

"Oh my god!! Thena!! I've missed you so much! I just watched the race. What the fuck." He laughed.

"I missed you too. It just happened Ferrari called me and offered the seat with Charles."

"No fucking way. This is crazy. I've got an off weekend coming up and I'm flying to you guys' race. Like I'm literally looking at flights right now on my laptop."

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Mamma do you want to go to the race this weekend I want to see Athena." He yelled to Pascale somewhere in their house.

"Okay we're both coming I book us flights that leave on Wednesday. So we can come watch you race! I can't wait."

"I know it's been so long and I'm sorry for that. But it just had to happen." I felt horrible for leaving.

"Hey hey don't explain yourself to me. I get it. It's difficult. I'm just happy you're back." I couldn't hold my excitement.

I get to see them in a few days and I just can't wait.

"Okay I'll let you go. Congratulations on your win. Be safe I love you!" He shouted the entirety of the sentence.

"Thank you Arthur! I love you!" We hungup and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face.

Even though I had to go be around Charles and Charlotte, I didn't feel phased. I was to excited to see Arthur and Pascale.

I got up and put on some black pants and a red crop top. Ferrari girly!

I believe that the address that Max sent me was for a club here in China.

I ran to the bathroom and attempted to tame my messy hair and put some makeup on my face. Not like I could do much because I was running late since I decided to sit in my drivers room for way to long.

After I slipped on my red Dunks, I headed out the door.

I decided that walking tonight would be better for me. I need the fresh air.

Strolling down the street, all of the different people passed by. Somewhere chatting to their group and some had their head down and just walking straight.
