Misfortune in every corner

Zachary watched his mom as she ran into the warehouse, then he was back to staring at the ground, his head so empty yet so crowded, all at once.

What had happened? What power did James have? Was Angello gonna be okay?

Questions with no answers.

Well maybe that was dramatic, these answers were all inside the warehouse behind him, but he simply didn't have the courage to step foot in there and see Angello again, probably awake, probably upset at Zachary.

Then there would be both his parents, stressed over James and upset at him for letting the situation happen in the first place.

Running away seemed like a good option, the car his mother had rode here was parked in front of him, and right next to it was the car his father and uncle rode here, although there was a driver in that one.

But running away was what he had done just a few weeks ago, when he came to the States. It was when his parents were getting into more arguments, life was getting more and more negative, and he'd spoken to his father when he was drunk, so he would be able to get a yes and move away from them.

Then he got his yes, met a handsome guy, made out with him, then his brother wandered back into his life with horrible information about said guy.

It was almost as if everything bad in his life was connected to his family, but then it'd be hypocritical to exclude himself from that bunch, considering the damage he'd done to Angello.

So it was just the Willow name that made everything horrible, that meant he had to stay away from Angello if he wanted him safe, maybe after the bravery Angello had shown inside he'd be able to quit this job, and maybe work as something other than an assasin.

Zachary was uncertain, everytime he'd asked him about his life aspirations, Angello would just remain silent.

Agnes watched as the guy she'd just given medical supplies to began disinfecting Angello's wound, was he a doctor of sorts? She had no clue, she also had no clue why there was a shirtless guy standing next to him offering words of encouragement to Angello.

She didn't know what had happened, all she knew was that Leonardo had called her, crying and deseperately explaining to her that he'd hit their son in the face with the back of a gun, and someone was bleeding so she needed to drive over to the location he'd text her as soon as possible, and bring specific medical supplies and pills.

She wasn't sure if she even wanted to know what had happened, James was fine, the older James was talking to nothing-ness as always, and Leonardo was no longer sobbing.

She felt invisible, in a way, as she'd always been ever since making contact with the Willow's. But that invisibility also meant she wasn't needed in here, so she slowly backed out of the room and then took a deep breath, before running to the entrance area, where Maykel would be.

The man must've heard her footsteps as she approached him, because he glanced back at her with a sigh, "Agnes, great, you wanna slap me like your husband did?"

"No," she stated as she made her way to the spot in front of him, "Well not yet." she crossed her arms, "I've got a question for you."
