After the incident at Vergamocliff, we didn't waste any time and went back to Castella. Andras and the rest of his troops stayed there for the sake of the people but they lent us some vehicles for us to go home faster. They said they will take our horses back when they are done with their job. Chavez and his two bodyguards are also safe so we are not really worried about leaving them. 

I caressed the side of my body and felt a little sting. The pain is still there but it's not hurting just like before. I sighed as I remember Cassi. I wish I could see her again someday and thank her properly. All I did back there was to be a burden but she didn't leave me there to die. 

"Hey, let's eat. Carmen and Dad's in the dining area waiting" napatingin ako sa pinto at nakita si Ruby. The door was slightly open and she was just there standing behind it. Hindi na niya tuluyang binuksan ang pintuan, para bang natatakot siyang pumasok dito sa kwarto ko. Hindi kami nakapag-usap ng maayos nang makabalik ako sa Vergamocliff dahil iyak lang siya ng iyak at niyakap ako ng mahigpit. 

Sa tingin ko ay hindi siya natatakot na pumasok dito kundi nahihiya sa ginawa niya. Unang beses kasi naming makita si Ruby na ganoon kung umiyak. Even Carmen and Tyrion was surprised to see her burst out crying.

"Okay, I'll be there in a sec" sabi ko at tumayo na. Inilagay ko naman ang libro mula sa kama ko sa bedside table. Babasahin ko nalang ito mamaya. I still need to finish this so I can start the 3rd book. Sigurado akong marami akong makukuha sa librong iyon pero kailangan ko munang tapusin ito dahil nasimulan ko na. Kaunting pahina lang naman ang librong ito kumpara sa unang librong binasa ko. 

Aside from that, I need to search for answers... again. That silver blood that came out from my wound is terrifying. That made me doubt myself if I am really human. I mean, sinong normal na tao ang mayroong dugo na katulod noon. Ang sabi naman ni Cassi ay hindi naman daw imposible ang ganoon but they are rare cases only. 

Pumasok narin sa isip na baka myembro ako ng ibang lahi dito sa mundong ito. This world has a lot of races I believe. There are elves, dwarves, fairies, dragons and many more. I just need to look for someone who has a silver blood. 

I shook my head to stop thinking about it now. Lumabas na ako at sabay kaming pumunta ni Ruby sa Dining area kung saan nakaupo na sina Carmen at Sir Erret. Hindi lang pala sila ang naghihintay dahil nandito din ang anak ni Rita. Umupo narin kami at saka na sila nagsimulang kumain. 

I looked at Rita's son. I never really had a time to know him since he is always in his room upstairs in their restaurant while we are practicing in their basement. 

" Sir Erret, where's Rita?" tanong ko. 

" She's with Veronica. Both of them are in a big mission." 

Medyo natigilan ako nang binanggit niya si Mama. So she was here while we were in a journey in Vergamocliff. Hindi na ako nagtanong pa at nagpatuloy lang na kumain hanggang sa marinig naming napabuntong hininga si Sir Erret. 

" She said that she loves both of you, Ruby and Estella." My hand halted in the air when he said that. Ibinaba ko ang isang kamay ko sa mesa at tiningnan siya. Tumingin din si Ruby sa kanya. 

" It's not just a mission, it's a dangerous mission. Ang sabi niya matatagalalan daw ang pagbalik nila" paliwanag ni Sir Erret. 

" Will she be okay?" tanong ni Ruby. "She will. Isa pa, kasama niya ang isa sa mga magagaling na myembro ng troop niya" 

He said reassuring us. Inaamin kong nag-aalala ako para kay mama. Palagi nalang siyang  wala dito at maraming ginagawa. I know it is something dangerous too. Sana naman ay makabalik sila agad at makausap ko na siya ng masinsinan.
