CARSONS POV:
I watch Kayla as she starts to fall asleep. I look at the time and it's 5:06am. she finally falls asleep. She curls up to my legs and holds them. she looks so beautiful when she sleeps. after a few hours I fall asleep too.
But there was no point. About an hour later I heard her moving uncontrollably in her sleep. She was crying and panicking. "Get off me" she shouts. This broke me. He's going to pay for what he did to her.
I shake her gently making her jump and shout. "Get off me" she shouts again. She looks at me and stares for a few seconds. she then hugs me resting her head on my shoulder. I put my arms around her and hug her back. I haven't hugged anyone for years because I hated them but I'll make an exception for her. Always.
"are you okay. Do you need anything love?" I ask her calmly while stroking my hand through parts of her blonde hair. She nods her head no and moves away and starts playing with her fingers. "i couldn't do anything I was useless. I-i couldn't move" she breaths out while tears were falling down her cheeks. "it's not your fault, Kayla he will get what he deserves for doing this to you. Do you hear me I'll make sure he does" I say seriously making her nod and lay on me again. She's so fragile now.
I don't want to ever give her a glare again after this night. "Can I talk to you about something?" I ask her making her nod yes and look up at me. I hold one of her hands before speaking. "You need to stop hurting yourself. And I want to help you with it so if you ever feel like doing it. Call me if your out and text me to come to you and we can talk instead. Okay?" I say to her and she nods and doesn't say anything.
"But please don't tell my brother again. Please" she begged. I hold her hand tighter. "Don't worry it stays between me and you but that's only if you come to me, if it gets worse then I will need to tell him" I say to her and she nods in understanding. "Let's hope it doesn't get to that" she added and I smile at her.
"I think I'm going to have a shower now" she tells me and I nod getting up to leave her room. I go watch tv alone as Kayden was out.
