The next day, I wake up at 11am. I've become so tired lately. But today I'm meeting up with Maddie. Im so glad we are meeting I've missed her so much.

There's a lot I need to tell her and she wants to talk to me too.
I get out of bed and go to my wardrobe deciding what outfit to wear. Im thinking something casual. I grab a black hoodie and grey cargos with my black and white pair of jordons.

I put my hair up in a claw clip. Once I was done with my outfit I did my skin care and added mascara and lipgloss.

After I was done with makeup I added my perfume and gold jewellery. I heard my phone ping making me go over and get it. I see a message notification from Maddie.

Maddie: you still okay to hangout later? x

Kayla: yes of course. See you soon angel 𝐱

I put my phone in my back pocket of my cargos and walk into the kitchen. "Morning mi amor. I thought you were meeting Maddie here?" He asks with a raised eyebrow. I shrug my shoulders turning from him. "I forgot to tell her and it's too late now. Us girls need privacy for private conversations" I say with attitude. He pulls me closer to me.

"Whatever but don't talk to me like that" he whispers in my ear and I nod. "Good girl. Have you had anything to eat yet?" He asks, i give him a glare. He shrugs while laughing. "I've just got ready so no" I tell him. "I'm going to a cafe anyway so I'll eat there" I say turning around to walk to the living room.

He stops me with his hand holding my waist. "What?" I ask confused. "What cafe?" He asks me and I shrug. "I'm not sure" I say honestly. "I can drop you both off if need me" he suggests. I roll my eyes and shake my head. "I'll be fine. If I need you I'll call you" I tell him. He sighs and looks at me. He comes closer kissing my forehead.

"What if you can't call me?" He asks. "You can drop me off Carson. If that's what your hinting at" I say annoyed walking away. I look back at him noticing him smiling.  Idiot.

I look over at Carson who's scrolling through his phone. "It's time to go" I mention to him and he looks up from his phone and puts it into his pocket. He gets up and walks over to grab his jacket.

We get to his car and he opens the door for me. I get in and he also gets in. He looks at me and smiles.

he starts his car and drives. "Are you excited to see Maddie?" He asks. I look at him while nodding. "I miss being able to talk to her" I confess. He puts his hand on my thigh causing me to look at him. "You know I'm glad Maddies back in your life" he tells me. "Why?" I ask. He looks at me then back at the road.
