The gardeners couldn't help but worry about Reuben's predicament. They knew that once the other guests woke up and started their day, there would be a flurry of activity in the garden. They didn't want Reuben's amusing but delicate situation to become the center of attention and potentially spoil the festive atmosphere.

With this concern in mind, the gardeners decided to discreetly seek the help of the butler, who was well-versed in handling delicate matters with the utmost discretion and efficiency.

"Mr. Butler," one of the jardineiros approached the butler respectfully, "we have a rather, um, unique situation in the garden. It's our friend Reuben, you see. He's entangled in the spandex tunnel, and we thought perhaps it would be best to move him to his room without anyone noticing, so he can continue his efforts to free himself."

The butler's composed demeanor remained unchanged, and he listened attentively to the gardener's explanation. Nodding thoughtfully, he understood the importance of handling the matter delicately to avoid any unnecessary attention.

"I see. I'll handle this discreetly," the butler replied in his formal yet reassuring tone. "Please continue with your duties, and I'll take care of moving Reuben to his room."

With the gardeners reassured, they returned to their work, trusting the butler to handle the situation with the utmost professionalism.

The butler made his way to the secluded garden, where Reuben continued to grapple with the spandex tunnel. He got amazed to see that big man completely covered by the tunnel.

"He probably even doesn't know that I'm heading to him."

Approaching him with an air of dignity, the butler pulled the edge of the tunnel where Reuben's head is visible and addressed him respectfully, "Mr. Reuben, might I offer my assistance? It appears the tunnel is becoming quite a challenge, and it might be prudent to move you to your room, where you can continue your efforts privately."

Reuben smiled, appreciating the butler's consideration.

"Thank you for your offer, Mr. Butler," he replied warmly. "That sounds like a good plan. Please, feel free to lend a hand."

With the butler's support, and some helpers, they carefully maneuvered Reuben, still entangled in the spandex tunnel, and carried him with care to his guest room, unnoticed by the other guests.

Once in the privacy of his room, Reuben continued his efforts to free himself, feeling grateful for the butler's discreet assistance. The sun continued its journey across the sky, casting its warm glow over the seaside mansion, while Reuben persisted in his playful struggle.

As the day unfolded, the other guests went about their activities, completely unaware of the entertaining adventure that Reuben was experiencing in the solitude of his room.

Reuben's friends began to notice his absence and inquired about his whereabouts. They were eager to recount their own experiences from the previous day's party with their adventurous and fun-loving friend.

One of Reuben's closest friends approached the butler with a smile. "Have you seen Reuben this morning, Mr. Butler?" she asked. "We've been looking for him everywhere. We wanted to share some of the stories from last night with him."

The butler, maintaining his composure, replied smoothly, "Ah, Miss Mattos, I believe Mr. Reuben decided to take an early morning swim. He must have slipped out before the rest of the guests woke up."

Reuben's friends nodded, understanding that he was known for his love of the water and outdoor activities.

"Ah, that sounds like him," another friend chimed in with a grin. "Always the adventurous one."

Hours later, when the friends prepared to depart, they asked the butler to relay a message to Reuben.

"Please let him know we had an amazing time at the party," one of them said. "And tell him we're planning another gathering soon. We can't wait to hear his stories too!"

The butler smiled politely and assured them that he would pass along the message. He watched as the friends said their goodbyes and made their way to their respective destinations, unaware of the unique adventure Reuben was still engaged in.

Once the friends had left, the butler let out a sigh of relief. He knew that keeping Reuben's situation discreet was of utmost importance to his spirited friend. And so, he resolved to ensure that Reuben had the privacy and space he needed to continue his efforts in his guest room.

Reuben goes on still persevering in his playful struggle, a earthworm determined to find his way to freedom.

The hours go by. Reuben found himself still entangled in the spandex tunnel, lying on the floor of his room, his attempts to free himself yielding no results. Despite his best efforts, the fabric seemed to hold him in a jocular yet persistent embrace.

He chuckled to himself, surrounded by the remnants of a few torn and tangled strands of spandex. "Well, at this rate, I might become one with the tunnel," he quipped, a twinkle of humor in his eyes.

Reuben's good-natured demeanor remained unwavering, even as the realization set in that his current situation might not change anytime soon, or ever. Yet, he continued to find laughter and amusement in the face of the absurdity that had become his personal adventure.
