"Good morning, Adira!" David came in.
"Good morning." Adira said calmly.
"I want to know, would you like to meet our Camp Campbell mascot?" David asked, with a smile on his face.
"Sure." Adira said.
Adira followed David, and the rest of the campers. When he reached a little hamster cage. She almost felt she was watching a little kid pick out a new pet to show and tell.
"And here we have our time-honored Camp mascot, Larry the hamster." David told the kids with an excited grin.
"Wow, what a super creative name." Adira thought sarcastically.
"Say hi, Larry!" David continued, pointing at the little hamster with enthusiasm.
"Hi there, campers! I hope you're ready! Don't forget to respect David and everything he does for you!" Of course, David said this, but he thought the campers were too dumb to realize that this wasn't the hamster speaking.
"Does he really think his squeaky voice would magically make them feel better? no I think not." Adira thought as she walked to Cooper.
"Hey Addie. I asked David if we could make some homemade ice cream, and he said yes! And I don't what he's doing over there." Cooper pointed at Max.
Adira did notice Max, who was standing next to a little contraption he made.
