I sat down at the end on the guest bed, Chica sitting next to me. "What are the others doing before I explain...?" I asked. Chica smiled. "Don't worry...they are downstairs watching a movie...just focus on me..." She said. I nodded. "So...where do I start...?" I asked. Chica grabbed my arm gently. "May I?" She asked. I whimpered a little, scared. "I Uh- not yet..." I mumbled, pulling my arm away. I already felt small tears in the corners of my eyes. "Hey, hey! It's alright...take the explaining slowly...if you need to take a break, tell me..." She said. I nodded slowly. "Perhaps you could start with what led you to this injury?" She asked. I nodded. "O-Okay..."I want you to do the talking... Moony...I can't...you know that...I don't want to overshare it...you just...say as much as you're comfortable with saying... But I'm not comfortable at all! I know...just...relax...try to at least...
I took a deep breath and stared at the floor. "W-Well...it all started when we got home tonight...me and Sun were both really stressed out from the work incident including the drunk mother."
"She was drunk?" Chica asked. I looked at her. "Oh! Sorry! My bad!I didn't mean to cut you off..." She apologized. I nodded. "It's fine...yes...she was drunk...anyways...we tried to distress by laying down on the couch, I was out so yeah...and then...I had these thoughts...I-" I tried to say more, but my body stopped speaking. I felt tears running down my face at that current moment. Chica sighed, hugging me. "Hey! It's alright...it's okay...I'm here..." She said, soothing me. I took in a deep breath, relaxing myself a little before continuing. "I...the thoughts were telling me to do...bad stuff...it felt like something was controlling me...guiding me to the kitchen...I tried to fight it until I couldn't anymore...and then...let's just say...I had "fun" with the knife..." I explained. Chica widened her eyes. "Y-You..." I nodded, tears still running down my face as I took off the wrap, revealing my gashed bleeding arm. She gasped, tears in her own eyes as she held my arm. "P-Please don't tell anyone...me and Sun are trying to move through it and get better...it's just...hard doing it alone..." I said. Chica sighed, nodding. "Your secret is safe with me...and you two are not leaving until I trust you alone...I'm calling off the 3 days you are off, claiming I'm sick." She explained. I smiled, nodding. "A-Alright..."
Chica stood up, walking over to mine and Sun's backpack. "You have wraps in here, right?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah...in the small pocket..."
WAIT-
"Why do you have womanly hygiene in here?" She asked.
Oh- whoops- idiot... LISTEN- I'M NOT THINKING STRAIGHT! Well...have fun explaining that to her! SUN-
I sighed, groaning a little. "Well...Uhm...long story short...me and Sun may be non-gendered...but we learned the hard way that we still go through that hell..." I explained. Chica snorted a little. "Lemme guess...you were at work?" She asked. I sighed. "Yep. The best place to be when you think you're literally bleeding out." I said, jokingly. Chica laughed a little, pulling out the wrap. "Well, I'm happy I don't have to be careful what I say around you. I didn't want to embarrass myself. It's nice to see you two having the same problem as me and, Roxy." She said, walking over to me. "Okay, now stand up. I'm going to make sure the coast is clear while you run to the bathroom. I'll meet you in there. Here, take the wraps with you." She said. I nodded and stood up, grabbing the wraps from her hands.
Chica walked over to the door and opened it, walking out. I watched as she walked all the way to the bathroom door, quietly kicking it open. I then ran, well technically fast walked, over to the door, walking into the bathroom. She followed behind me, locking the door shut. "Why do we have to be in here?" I asked. "Do you not clean your wounds?" She asked, concerned. I shook my head. "You have to do that?" I asked. She sighed, facepalming. "Yes you dumbass." She mumbled, opening the bathroom cabinet and taking out a washcloth. She then grabbed a bottle of alcohol. "Why do you have that?"
"It works better for me then the other stuff. It's just a tad bit more painful." She said, opening the bottle and placing it down on the counter. "Come here." She said. I hesitantly did as told. She grabbed my arm and put the washcloth under it, pouring the alcohol on the wound. I grunted a little in pain, my nails digging into the bathroom counter. "Sorry! It's gonna sting!" She said. "An earlier warning would've been ideal!" I growled. She smiled. "You're fine. Luckily it's not infected, but this'll still clean the wound." She explained, rubbing the wound with the washcloth and then placing the washcloth down on the counter. She took my wrap from my other hand and begun to wrap up my arm, smiling as she did so. "And...you're done! Good job tough guy! Girl- I forgot your gender-" She mumbled, putting the stuff away and giving me the wraps back. I snickered. "It's fine. We deal with children, we are use to it."
"Ah- I see..." She giggled, grabbing me by the hand and leading me back to the guest room. She locked the door and walked over to the bed. "Sit, you are getting cuddles. Don't take it in the wrong way. These are friendship cuddles." She said, sitting down on the bed. I smiled and sat down beside her. She laid down and patted her stomach for me to lay. I hesitantly laid down on her, immediately getting comfortable. She pulled up a blanket and covered us with it, petting my head. "Goodnight, Moony..." She said, smiling. I smiled back. "Goodnight, Chica..."
