Moon POV

I wasn't even going to ask why I was still in control. The hospital's lights sucked. I groaned and laid back, my tears drying onto my face. Suddenly the nurse who went to check on Monty came in. The doctor looked over to her, sitting in his spiny chair. "So, what's up with him?" He asked. The nurse sighed and smiled. "He got hit head on with the car. So he got a lot of damage done to him." She said, looking down. I narrowed my eyes, beginning to get worried.Sunny?
I tried to get Sun to talk me so I could make sure they were hearing this too, but they seemed to be asleep. I sighed, listening into the conversation again. "Is he alright?" The doctor asked. The nurse's smile faded as she didn't dare to look up from the floor. "We are not sure. He is going into surgery in a few so they can fix up some of the internal injuries." She explained. I felt my heart stop for a moment. The doctor sighed and nodded, typing in stuff on his computer. "Is he currently awake?"
"I'm afraid not." The nurse answered. The doctor nodded again and looked over to me. "You have to wait until he's out of surgery-"
"No." I spoke, my eyes narrowing. The doctor clenched his fist a little. "You have no choice. If you delay his surgery by going to see him now, he might die." He spat. I growled a little, sitting up. "I doubt he'll die by me looking at him for 5 damn minutes." The doctor stood up. "Lay back down. If you don't listen and you start putting up a fight, there will be consequences." He spoke. I glared at him. "You can't keep me here."
"I can actually. You signed the paper before we went to the X-ray. You were just so out of it that you didn't know what you were signing." The doctor said, smirking. I narrowed my eyes, looking down at the bed. "I will drug you with some sleeping medication if you do decide to fight this." He said, grabbing a shot. I laid back down, feeling frightened. "Good boy...now stay laying down and we won't have any more problems. And if you do so, then just maybe will I let you go see Montgomery after he's out of surgery." The doctor spoke. I growled a little, a wave of fear washing over me as I realized that he was in full control of this situation. He decides when I leave and when I get to see Monty again...I'm fucked...

Monty POV
-I groaned, my eyes slowly opening. Every inch of my body felt like it was on fire. I couldn't move my legs at all. I blinked a few times, looking around. "Hello sir. It's good to see that you're awake!" A female voice said from beside me. I looked at her and saw she was a nurse. "Huh? Who are you?" I asked, still out of it. "I am one of the nurses. I'm just prepping you for your surgery." She explained. I narrowed my eyes. "Surger what now?"
"Surgery sir. You have internal damage on both of your legs. And a few little bleeding areas in your stomach. Don't worry though, we will get you up and walking again soon!" The nurse explained, grabbing a shot filled with liquid. "W-where's Moon?" I asked. She raised a brow. "Who?" She asked. I looked at her. "My uhhhhh-" I thought for a moment then whispered to myself. "I'm going to die when they found out I said this-" Then I said it. "My girlfriend, Moon." I said. The nurse's face then turned into a look of realization. "Oh! The one who was at the crash scene with you?"
"Yes." I said. The nurse then smiled. "They are doing just fine. We are currently waiting for some X-rays on them, but they seem to be doing alright."
"Can I see them?" I asked. The nurse thought for a moment. "I'm not sure if that's a good idea...she may get really attached and not let go-"
"They'll let go. I know ways to make them." I said. She sighed and nodded. "I'll see what I can do..." She said, walking off. I smiled and nodded, looking around the room. I was slowly gaining control over my arms again, now being able to move them bit by bit. I realized I was in a small little hospital room. The bed I was laying on was very uncomfortable.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door before it slowly opened. The nurse then walked in with Moon behind her. "Here we are." She said, walking Moon over to me. I smiled at them and held a hand out for them to grab, in which they quickly did. The nurse smiled. "I will let you two be while I go and set the surgery up." She said, leaving the room and closing the door behind her.
I looked up at Moon who seemed to be avoiding any eye contact. "What's wrong nightlight?" I asked. They shrugged, staring at the ground. I sighed, smiling a little. "Come here, you're not that heavy." I spoke, holding out my arms for them. They happily crawled and snuggled up with me. I pet their head and rubbed their back, making sure to comfort them. "Now tell me what happened." I said. Moon sniffled, seeming to be crying a little. "I-I don't like it here..." They mumbled. I sighed, nuzzling their head. "I know...I'm here...don't worry..." I spoke, lifting their face up to look into their eyes. "I need you to wait for me...alright?" Moon stared at me, seeming to be worried. I wiped away their tears and kissed them. Moon, without hesitation, kissed me back. I smiled and hugged them. "Wait for me...I'll be out of surgery soon..." I mumbled. They nodded. "Okay...promise you'll be okay...?"
"I promise..."
