"I can't believe they canceled on us." Adam spoke sadly as the twins walked through the city at around 6 pm. "They didn't cancel, they stood us up, Adam." Jennie shot back angrily, arms crossed over her chest.

The twins planned to meet with Andrew and James to talk about what had happened, but the two boys didn't show up. "This bites." Adam sighed when the familiar dinner came into view, "Well, care to join me for dinner?"

He asked his sister who was already making a b-line to the dinner. "I guess that's a yes," he huffed out before jogging up beside her. Jennie grinned back at her brother as the pair entered the dinner.

Her eyes widened seeing Charlie sat at the bar as he usually was. "Go sit, I'll order." Adam nodded his head before going to sit at a booth, Jennie walked up to the counter, "Pam, usual for Adam and I."

The woman nodded, "Moms tab?" Jennie simply nodded her head in response before addressing Charlie, who had been watching her not so secretly since she opened her mouth.

"You and Adam, huh?" She shot the boy a glare, "Hey, you better not tell Adam that I've come here without him." Charlie shrugged his shoulders, not getting a chance to speak as she left, he watched her walk towards her brother. He waited all of a minute before grabbing his things and heading over.

"Hey guys." Jennie sent the boy a glare while Adam smiled slightly at him, "Hey Charlie, what are you doing here?" Adam asked the boy curiously while trying to ignore the constant nudging from Jennie.

"My mom works here so I'm waiting for her to finish up so I can walk her home." Jennie looked at Charlie slightly surprised as she didn't know that about him. "That's.. sweet, actually."

"So what are you doing here?" Charlie asked the twins, Adam looked to his sister who was now playing with a random straw wrapped that was left on the table. He rolled his eyes, taking it from her hands, "You don't know who's that was."

Jennie frowned trying to get it back, Charlie watched amused seeing how childish the two rich kids were being. "Give it back!" "Hey, hey, hey, no fighting in my dinner."

The twins pulled apart to see Pam with their orders, "No fighting or else no dessert." She pointed between them before walking away, Jennie elbowed her brother before she started to eat.

"What'd you ask, Conway?" She asked the boy, recalling him asking them something. "I asked what you guys were doing here." Charlie responded, drinking his soda, "Oh, we got stood up."

Adam huffed out, remembering how he and his sister had gotten there. "Stood up? Double date?" Charlie asked, more towards the girl who had her mouth full with zero shame. "No, just Adam's boyfriends didn't show up."

Charlie hummed in response while Adam elbowed Jennie, "They are not my boyfriends, Andrew was like yours." Jennie laughed in response, "He's my best friend, Adam."
